These are a fraction of the drawings in my notebook from this summer. Currently, I am working on getting my Masters in Montessori education through Loyola University. Long explanation short: I moved to Portland this summer and attended my first semester. It was intensive, but I've never learned more about infancy. Portland is the bomb, my living situation was (of course) a life lesson in appreciation, so far I have an "A", and Grubhub is the/a devil/miracle.
Some art from around my job. I made the cat for funsies, and the mosaics are by some of the students. Grouted and cleaned by moi.
Drew my parents a valentines card about them meeting. They met in court, my mom was lawyering and my dad was a bailiff. Romance people.

I met an artist who binds their own books. She lent me a drawing pad and told me to fill up and give it back to her. I'm having a lot of fun with this.
I finally graduated! And nothing has gone like I thought it would, but the good part is Iām working on accepting this. Being out of school for the first time in 20 years is scary; and I have no idea what to do. I didnāt want to jinx anything by dreaming of what Iād do after college, because I thought Iād never graduate. But now Iām here, and I have no direction in life. Sometimes I get jealous that all of my friends have safety and stability in their relationships and marriages; and I feel like a ghost. I need to practice accepting things. The challenges I have are not related to my friends. I have to tell myself that Iām secretly brave. I am a weightless, cloud free to go anywhere. I just have to find the path and clarity to lead me there.
