Whenever a guy slides into my dms I always confuse him with feminism or insult him with debate puns. And if it's a debate guy... it's even more interesting

Do you ever just think "hmmm maybe the 1nr should be t" and then you realize you're not the 2n so you don't make that decision and you're aff and you're flowing the neg rn
If you spell Kritik as critique we know u aren't a true k debater
So as a Policy debater, I'm better with pure evidence than morals. The problem is, my coach wants everybody to study up for Big Question debate so we can have a tournament of our own to see who goes to Nationals competing in that event. I have no idea where to begin??? I looked at NSDA resources and some articles on the topic but I just don't understand it. How do I do a form of debate with 5 or less minute speeches about morals??? What arguments do I make??? Help???
I’ve never done big questions, but it sounds kinda similar to policy. I think? you can still use evidence (not sure).
I would go back to basics. My guess is that it’s more “traditional” debate. Like slower speaking, more persuasive, etc. (just me guessing). I’d say just think about using more emotional appeals and make your logic very clear when weighing your arguments. It’s probably more explaining and giving real world examples.
Since it’s more about morals I’d say think more big picture. so while you should probably still answer your opponent’s arguments, i would think line by line would be less important. so probably focusing on the results of the logic used and explaining what each justifies.
I hope this helped! Good luck+I’m sure you’re gonna do great!

Am I the only one that's noticed policy people will say "no plan, leave" and that they won't judge k debates, but I've never seen a k person say they'll never judge a policy debate....
