My boyfriend and I both hate trump. He’s Sudanese Muslim and I’m a white Canadian girl. He hates him cause he’s racist. I mentioned his sexist comments. The “pussy grabbing” one from 2005. My mans response was “that’s awful, but, he said it before he was president.” I was dumbfounded. The president of the unites states said that comment which perpetuates rape culture at some point! And people’s response was “just locker room, guy talk” my guy shrugged and was like ya, it’s harmless. I said it’s that mentality which causes all women to fear men. Then I told Him how just yesterday I walked past a big man on the sidewalk and I was AFRAID. He couldn’t believe that’s how #allwomen feel at all times

Boyfriend cheated with over 8 girls first year and a half together... called me crazy when I mentioned... comes clean when I go to leave him for someone else. Changing perspectives

I just said to my boyfriend “it’s fucked up how people are more quick to jump to the accused rapists defence, than to the woman who came forward. It’s the only instance in judicial proceedings where the victim gets treated like the perp.” His response “well ya, but it’s a fact that women falsely accuse of rape all the time.” I showed him the stats. And he’s like but it still happens... like a true man, he ignored the stats and only saw that it happens (about 2% of the 40% that get reported.) I replied with “people get accused of murder all the time.. the majority are guilty. The others are falsely convicted or acquitted. We hear about those more than we hear about guilt.” #rapeculture
