Nathan and Hunter: Chapter 2
Nathan stared out the window the whole ride to Hunter’s safe house. He stayed quiet, but his brain was thinking of every possible scenario and how to get out of it. He almost didn’t realize that the car had stopped, and Hunter was getting out. Nathan glanced at the building. It was secluded and plain. There was nothing special about it-- which was probably smart. flamboyance would get him in trouble. He stepped out of the car and clutched his bag closely, following the other into the house.
When they stepped inside, the house was anything but plain. It was elaborately decorated. Nathan’s jaw dropped a little, and he slowly meandered about to get a closer look. There was a living room, an office filled with any technological tool they could ever need, a small kitchen, and a small gym-- and only one bedroom. That really didn’t matter, though. His safety came first. He bit his lip and rejoined Hunter in the living room, taking a seat on the couch. “This is really nice. Definitely beats my studio apartment...” He chuckled.
Blaine and Edgar// Out Tonight

Edgar put all the groceries in their right place while Blaine explained what he was doing, and what he still had due. He was about to say something when the phone rang, then he walked up to him as the other hung up and he nodded. “Chinese and Netflix sounds good actually. But-” He reached out and snatched the laptop for him. “- not tonight, baby” He turned the keyboard to himself and made sure to save whatever that Blaine had done up until that point. “You are calling Rachel, and you are going out with your friends.” He put the laptop down and sat by his side. “One night is not gonna make a big difference. Barry held Blaine tight to his chest all the way back to Central City, then when they were back in STAR Labs he held onto him after the other stood up and he took his mask off and let it hang behind his neck. “Hey. I thought I’d lost you for a moment…”
Blaine’s heart sped up immensely when Barry held him close. He slipped his arms around his slender waist and sighed. Finally. He was so relieved that he was back where he belonged, but even more happy that is father was finally caught. “I didn’t have any doubts in you or the team at all, but... I was scared, too.” He looked up at him and cupped his cheek. “The whole time I was only thinking about you.” He pressed their foreheads together and sighed. “Thank you.” He teared up a little, closing his eyes to try and hide it. “Just... thank you. You got rid of my worst nightmare, and... I actually have a chance at a real life.” He pecked his boyfriend’s lips and whispered against them softly. “I love you, Barry.”

Hunter nodded, also feeling a lot better if he got to keep an eye close to Nathan. To his knowledge, he would never let him out of sight again, ever. “Alright. “I’ll wait by the door. Just grab all your stuff. I’ll stay here with you.” He watched the other male gather his things quickly and when he was done they walked side by side downstairs, where the command security center was. Hunter let them know quickly was would happen, then he told one of the men to leave his car at the service door of the hotel, the back door. After waiting the right amount of time he took Nathan there, his hand holding the male’s arm formly but gently at the same time, then opened the door for him. “Get in the back, okay? It’s safer.”
Nathan stayed close to Hunter as they walked out, trying to make it look less obvious that he was being escorted out. Before they got to the door, he slipped on the sunglasses he found in his bag and nodded at his instructions, getting into the car when Hunter gave him the signal. He tossed the duffle bag to the side and crossed his arms, tightly holding himself as they drove off.
Nathan was always the kind of person to have a plan. He was intelligent and logical. This was the first time he had no idea what to do. If the situation he had himself in wasn’t terrifying enough, the fact that he couldn’t think his way out of it was worse. Hopefully he could have it figured out with Hunter’s help sooner rather than later.
