What was the point of running away from Scarlet now? The other could sympathize with Peridot, something she had never come across before. It was something worth sticking around for.
“She’s not just a sore loser.” She stated, eyes looking at Scarlet with a hint of indignation towards Yellow Diamond. “She’s a pathetic, cold, ruthless, betraying, manipulative, irritating, bad moraled, ridiculous, cloddy, disgusting…” She took a breathe, plopping down with a thud and looking down with sadness in her eyes. “..tyrant who I spent so many years obsessing over. We’re both idiots in this case.”
Scarlet was silent when the small green gem ranted off names about their leader. She didn’t agree with all of them yet.. But some of them, now learning how she is and coming to realization, she knew they were true.
She sighed and casted her gaze to the ground. “Yeah, I kinda obsessed over her too. She was the only one who respected me minus a few others. But I was so blinded by that that I didn’t realize she was using me or didn’t cared about me.. She probably cares about no one. We get nothing in return for our services..”
"And to your left, you can see me, ruining everything."
“Huh?!” The Ruby eyed the deformed gem. At first she had assumed Scarlet was threatening her, so she took a couple steps backwards. “Wait.. you’re not ruining anything” Doc blinked her eyes slowly under her visor.
“Y’know? Wanting to protect it and all?” Earth as a whole, she didn’t like, but she didn’t hate it. Nor did she think it exactly deserved to die. But she was just following orders of her Diamond. And if her Diamond wanted her to wipe out creatures of this planet, she would do so without second thought.
She frowned when she saw the leader roll her eyes at her. “I would watch your eyes and your attitude,” she hissed.

((So doctor says I probably have a stomach ulcer. And that to keep with soft and liquids. Of course they had to mention if it gets worse or there’s blood that I need to come back and get a camera shoved down my throat.. which I am hoping won’t happen.

((People seem to forget that Lapis DID save Peridot’s life (well when it was thought she was in danger) and agreed to a plan to save Peridot. Yes, Lapis did say some bad things to Peridot, but I wouldn’t label her as an abuser and she seemed to try and make up for it by what was earlier said. Not to mention that before, Peridot did interrogate Lapis and used her for information. Of course she going to be angry at Peridot and not really trust her.
Scarlet stood there, glaring into the shadows. The gem hated when people snuck up on her. Not only did it put her on edge, but due to how she was taught, she sometimes struck a punch out to whoever sneaks up on her.
Her eye flicked around in the general area that she heard the sound from and saw a dark shape blending on with the shadows. But she saw some of it due to the sun rays that were still filtering through the trees.
“Y’know, I can see you?”
“You can do whatever you like. Fight Yellow Diamond and her army with the Crystal Gems, feel free to do so. My mission is simple and that’s all that I am going to do. I’m not going to fight anyone else. It’s just a waste of time.”
She held her laughter in at the part of fighting Yellow Diamond. A whole army with advance technology versus this... person and a few other gems.
Tbh I am totes surprised I even got this far, I never really expected to reach this milestone. And I can’t thank y’all enough for helping me! At first I didn’t really expect this fandom to be so welcoming, yet everyone’s just so nice and fun to interact with every time.
but before I start to ramble on, I must address some peeps now!

Peridot’s eyes still laid on Lapis, feeling incredibly bored and feeling like this was tedious. A minute soon passed and despite the sheer closeness, she spoke.
“This is tedious.” She stated flatly, it was barely audible if that was any help.
Due to the silence, she heard what Peridot said and sighed. It wasn’t even five minutes and she was complaining about it.
“It’s called relaxing,” she replied with a sour note in her tone
