If you take a break from an Ace Attorney case and come back a week later, it's like an amnesiac just picked this case up and you're running around like a madman to different locations wondering what your next trigger point is because you forgot to write down what the previously-established next step is. Who knows what the case is even about? Not you and definitely not your Weird Girl. The game treats you like you are present and conscious the entire time, which is great when you're actively playing and horrible when you've been away.

If you take a break from a Danganronpa case and come back a week later, there will be 15 different text boxes telling you exactly where to go and what to do, and the game will prevent you from doing anything else besides hitting your next trigger point. The game treats you like you become a fresh victim of high impact blunt force trauma straight to the cranium after every text box closes, which is great when you've been away and absolutely atrocious when you're mid-game session and 60% of it has been the same information reiterated.
