Alright, folks! I’ve got a project underway, and I need some help.
So it’s a pretty big pain to do something like this alone, so I’m asking for some favors. First, let me explain what I’m going to do:
•Acquire every piece of Toontown Online merch (minus the custom shirts), document it, estimate rarity, and give a suggested price range.
•Collect the entire set of trading cards, and make scans in the absolute highest resolution I can manage publicly available. Seriously, a lot of the art is super rad, and it’ll be a cool resource for artists and fans.
•Collect all of the posters sold and distributed for the game, and scan them as well.
•Create a complete and easily accessible changelog for TTO, for reference reasons.
•And finally, if all of the above gets done, I’d like to document every event that’s happened in TTO, and maybe TTR. This isn’t the most important thing to do, and it’d be an absurd task, but it’ll complete the reference material for the game.
Now, here’s what I need in terms of help.
-This is a bit of an ask, but if anyone has the trading cards around and doesn’t want them anymore, could you mail them to me? If you message me, I can give you a PO box that you can send them to. It’ll make these cards available to everyone, which is great, because most available scans are absolute garbage. I’ll be happy to pay for them if you’ve got a reasonable price, or do writing trades for them.
-I need people to link me to online sales listings for TTO merch. Fortunately, the Flunky Bobblebody is in transit now, so that’s the hardest thing off the list, but that’s all I’ve got! This also applies for posters.
-Concept Art! Send it to me! It’s great for documentation purposes, and it’s real cool.
-Hit me with changelogs, too. I need, like, all of the changelogs.
