Spazzkid - Truly (feat. Sarah Bonito) OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
Working on this song with Sarah Bonito was a very special experience for me. When we started brainstorming the music video, I wanted to share the fun, care-free feeling that the song gives out. My good friend Czar Campos, who also directed the video for “40 Winks” off of Desire, traveled to the streets of Shibuya and Harajuku in Tokyo to shoot with the lovely Ayumi Yokoyama. The culture in Tokyo is a huge inspiration for me and the animations were inspired by “Purikura” or the photobooths that pepper the city. Following Ayumi through her day “Truly" makes me swoon and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed the process of it’s existence. Credits:
Director - Czar Campos
Starring - Ayumi Yokoyama
Camera - Kento Nakada, Kento Watanabe
Make-up - Ameri Nakamura
Assistant - Ai Munemoto
Edit - Czar Campos
Animation - Paco Raterta

Joke Book by Victor ‘KOOL A.D.’ Vazquez is available in its entirety, for free, on Medium today. I forgot how amazing it is. Here are some parts from it.
if you want to listen to some cool music today, I suggest checking out Major Tendons — a mixtape curated by Melissa Broder and featuring art by Stephen Michael McDowell, who made an interactive music video for Shallou
the mixtape includes songs by Belave (a side-project of Majical Cloudz), Blue Hawaii, and Suicideyear
Melissa Broder was interviewed on Pitchfork about it, read that here
Habbo Hotel
It was a messy and foggy morning when Steven Sillyperson logged onto 4chan.org and saw the picture of a dog photoshopped inside the foreskin of a human penis. Steven, who prefers gender neutral pronouns, saved the picture in their Dropbox folder titled reaction pics, and after spending twenty minutes reading a post about Elliot Rodgers, they started a Tinychat room and linked to it in their thread on /b/.
The sky felt gender neutral to Cher Littlebit while she browsed an area code hook up thread on /soc/. She ctrl+F’d “415” but didn’t receive any results. Simba, the orange ragamuffin, knocked over a vase before running out of her bedroom and hiding under a couch. Cher followed him out the room and laid down at eye level with him where they stared at one another. “What’s the matter with you?” she said but Simba had trouble understanding her because he mainly communicates through body language.
Steven smoked salvia alone in their room to an audience of twenty peers, and when they began to feel constrictions tense through their body, they came to the same, reoccurring thought, “I can not imagine anyone consenting to this.” In the middle of the terribly physical and violent yanking of Steven’s identity, they felt something familiar.
But does it really matter if things feel familiar to Steven, and I mean does this feel similar to you, this familiar feeling thing I mean?Just FYI, I don’t see any correlation to how Steven perceives themself to how someone like, for example, me can perceive themself. It’s hard for me to find the connections between the things happening around me, but we make connections with the people in our communities all the time anyway, and they affect the way we think about the things and people around us, just in case you weren’t paying attention this is what is currently happening.
Paul Nickleback, who had recently published Cher in his serialized magazine focused on culture and gender after their initial meeting at a book launch last month in San Mateo, who had just sent Cher one of many increasingly concerning text messages requesting nude photos, hadn’t left his home in a week following his termination from his job, and watched Steven on tinychat but lost interest halfway through, in the same familiar way he had lost interest in himself whenever long ago, it doesn’t really matter.
Eli recently began his job at NewHive.com and is otherkin. His Facebook news feed displays an article that matches his interests. Millions of dollars go towards an algorithm that ensures you only see the articles that are most relevant towards you. Humans are increasingly finding new ways to control and change the environment around them. Eli, on the other hand, identifies as a cat.

What ended up being two weeks with Herman Melville has become a blur to me, even though I’m writing this only a week after. We had a routine of waking up anywhere from one to three in the afternoon, getting breakfast, usually at some place “just around the corner,” a phrase Herman Melville used to describe any restaurant, bodega, or market within five-to-six blocks. He called me pet names. I have never gotten used to pet names. “My sweet,” “my little corgi,” and “my Philip Seymour Hoffman.” — Hannah Van Arsdale

Lil B - No Black Person is Ugly

I spent two weeks with a famous person and all I got was severe depression and a penchant for cocaine by Hannah Van Arsdale
Ah yes any trip to meet a special someone is going to be odd. The levels between the two are impossible to even out. By traveling a great distance from coast to coast to meet an online someone there is going to be moments of pure weird. Online a person can edit their interaction think twice about what they are going to do. With the offline lifestyle an individual cannot hide behind a computer screen. Souls are impossible to hide offline. Habits, the messy ones, the ones that have a person wear the exact same outfit every day, those are tough to break.
Guests are supposed to feel welcome. It is perfectly normal. A host needs to cater to their needs. Doing so is relatively difficult however. Oftentimes guests develop strange habits. For a guest a new exciting habit might be enjoying delicious lemonade, having a heaping bowl of Special K, and developing a penchant for cocaine. Thanks to the mass commoditization movement all of these requests can be catered to and more. Economically sound the world’s economy relies upon this kind of spending, the kind where it begs people to please consume for the sake of everyone. Unfortunately such spending has to reduce expenses elsewhere hence the need for roommates.
Sex happens. Life is sex. When a person was created that happened because of sex or less likely, some form of decanting via the Brave New World. Typically people have sex as a way to pass the time because there is so much time and it is so easy to waste it. People aren’t born with much but usually they are born with literally years ahead of them ready to simply grow older. Hence people have sex to go to sleep because sex is awesome and sex is a way to make sure there’s at least some form of exercise during the day. Sex is the ultimate sleeping aid.
Fuzzy details are details that have grown chest hair. Aging does that to the details growing out hair until the original intention is unclear. That is fine. Nobody really needs to remember everything and the mind does a great job of blocking out needless information. When an argument happens that is usually a great time to basically tune out. Due to the mind’s penchant for remembering the bad time (to compare them against the good) arguments linger longer than they should. Then the trip is over and the return to home happens once again, with a brief view of a person’s life left in the mind.
Ghosts by Moon Temple
It’s a bad idea to become close to a writer because it hurts to know the truth about yourself. Your heart will be pierced. It becomes suffocating. At the age of eight, in the summer-time, I would swim at a swimming pool with the day-camp group my grandma paid for me to be a part of. Paid for me to get out of the house, interact with others my own age, gain useful life-lessons from the high school-aged counselors managing the camp. In the pool, the older boys would often swim up behind me, putting one hand on my head and the other around my shoulders, and dunk me. Every time felt like death. So sudden. I’d be gasping for air for a full minute after. The way other people speak about you when they don’t realize you are listening. The way other people see you. The words feel suffocating.
