𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐒 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐈𝐍 an enchanted forest had done more harm than good for Tzeitel and her brother. They both lacked skills when it came to human interaction. whereas lachlan was brash and prickly , tzeitel was awkward and flustered. she was clumsy and often felt like an ugly duckling of sorts. always making a fool of herself and always saying the wrong thing. she had never felt that way with Draco. in the short time she had known him he had made the princess feel anything fumbling. he made her feel beautiful. like there was something worth looking at ( she would humbly disagree of course but kept those words to herself ). emotions was something she wasn’t good at. the princess often had a hard time expressing herself. everyone knew that lachlan was even worse. it must have been a curse of sorts for the Arnadalr clan to be terrible with communication. so knowing something was upsetting draco and there wasn’t much she could do to help made her feel powerless. she wasn’t to do something, make him smile the way he made her did every day because when he did show those pearly whites they could make a room glow. his commanding presence was something she admired. “ I know. ” she smiled, a blush painting her cheeks as she was pulled closer to him. her grip on the pumpkins were tight which left her being pulled into draco. she didn’t mind and even worked up the courage to quickly peck his lips even though her cheeks were practically on fire. she pulled away to see water pooling around her hands and realized her nerves had caused her powers to appear. talk about clammy hands. “ you’re always doing the heavy lifting i thought i’d share the load for once. i’m stronger than i appear, draco. ”
DRACO COULDN’T UNDERSTAND HOW someone so small managed to hold two huge boulders in her arms. Not that he didn’t think she was strong enough or capable but she seemed so fragile. He knew in the short amount of time they knew each other that he’d move mountains for her before she even had to lift a finger. The kiss was small and unexpected but it still set his heart ablaze. His lips seemed to burn as she pulled away. He smiled down at her, a true genuine look of adoration. He was greedy however--so he cradled her cheek with his palm pulling her closer. Leaning over to meet her height he kissed her softly--more soft than he wanted too but he didn’t want to overstep his boundaries. Pulling from the princesses lips he met her eyes. “I know you are.” Draco stated firmly. “And thank you.” He couldn’t remember the last time someone had done something for him--no matter how small it seemed. She cared and that meant the world to him. Taking the pumpkins from her he set them down on the table and then quickly took her hands in his. “I want to be honest with you Tzeitel, which is incredibly difficult for me. I’ve never had to do this before.” He trailed off with an un-easy smile. “Before you I really didn’t have anyone besides my sister. Which at the time I was fine with that. Then the moment you walked into the tattoo parlor I felt my whole life shift. You’ve made my days brighter but also harder. I’ve never had to deal or process these kinds of emotions before. I can read and experience other peoples energies or auras. Feeling everyone's else’s emotions left very little room for me to want to feel the same..then you appeared and I began to think differently. I knew from the moment I saw you that It was you...” He paused feeling a bit overwhelmed but at the same time it felt like a huge weight had been lifted from his chest. “I wanted to tell you about my powers a lot sooner but I didn’t want to scare you off or to think that I was strange. That’s kind of stupid of me anyway, considering my family name and all. It’s just I wanted to thank you and that I’ve appreciated your company over these past few months. And that I might even love you.”
