verse; dragon trainer.

i want to make it VERY CLEAR that in my dragon trainer verse for zoe, she’s always around A LOT of dragons, all in varying shapes and sizes. sometimes you’ll see her leading miniature parades, consisting of herself and other little dragons ( she often sings loud, improvised-on-the-spot songs to go with these events ), and other times you’ll catch her mid flight on one of her larger dragon buddies, encouraging them to fly faster. i’d also like to think that dragons are fairly challenging to tame— it’s not impossible, but it takes time to develop a really deep bond with them ( i.e something like what tristana + riggle have ) .  that being said, zoe is close with only three dragons, those being snoozie, a smaller red coloured dragon, cinder, another smaller dragon with brown and green tones, and boggo, her largest dragon— she thinks he’s big and beautiful ! 

the rest of zoe’s dragons are more or less her “friends”, who enjoy spending time with her or accompanying her on her little adventures and shenanigans. most of the other dragon trainers don’t enjoy talking to her, mostly because they can’t keep up with her fast paced speech and hyperactive nature, so zoe spends most, if not all of her time around dragons, which is why at first glance, one would think that she had tamed all of them. but that’s really not the case— the dragons just like spending time with her, and she likes spending time with them !

zoe has a very low tolerance for the dragon slayers, and often plays obnoxious (  and sometimes dangerous ) pranks on the people who inhabit their villages and towns. whether it’s through her sparkly magic   ( she thinks the glitter bomb pranks are the funniest— you should have seen xin zhao’s face the first time she ever pranked to him. ) , or blowing up their possessions here and there, she thinks that they all deserve it. she does it frequently enough to the point where it’s almost like a hobby. what a brat. if the dragon slayers ever encounter zoe, most times she’ll take snoozie and cinder,  and hop on boggo to make for a quick retreat.  but if they attack, she won’t hesitate to use her strongest spells and magic to protect her dragon friends. 

she spends a vast portion of her time away from the other dragon trainers. in a way, she’s almost always alone, but that’s only if you don’t count the dragons who stay by her side. it’s not that she doesn’t like the company of other dragon trainers— if they wanted to talk to her, she would be very excited about it, and would be very open to it. but if they don’t want to talk to her or if they don’t make an effort to talk to her, she’ll go on by herself— but with her dragons, of course. she pays it no mind, as it doesn’t affect her day to day shenanigans and fun. if her dragons are happy, she is too.

as to where zoe resides— she sleeps wherever she wants. normally she’ll find a big, beautiful tree to sleep under —or in ( she’s a great climber ! )— but other times she’ll just rest wherever her dragons decide to rest at. she doesn’t ever leave them either   ( they are her best friends, after all )  .    boggo keeps a wing over zoe during the night when he can, just to keep her warm. snoozie and cinder cuddle with zoe as well.

i might work a bit on this later, but i really do want to get into this verse— i’m almost tempted to whip up a small design !
