Is this real??

So, I've been going out with my girlfriend for a little over a month (we had been hanging out and talking for a couple months before that, too), and it's going really well! She's a total sweetheart, really smart, and big foodie! So, we go to this meditation thing last week and, naturally, it's pretty quiet during. So quiet, I managed to hear some very distinctive grumbling sounds from her general direction. I didn't know what to do or say so I just kinda let it sit. But then, at dinner later, she kinda leans over and says "I don't know if you could hear my stomach, but I'm soooo hungry"! So, yeah, melting a little. But then today, she mentions she's feeling really hungry at work (skipped breakfast) and I decide to ask if her stomach ever growls that loud there, too.

Response, with no hesitation: "Oh yeah, my belly's always making noises!"

....is it too soon to propose? lol

Lying awake this morning, feeling pretty decent, but lmao can’t help realizing I do little things when I’m hungry, sometimes doing this shi in public ahhh T-T

-Muttering “I’m hungry” or any variation of it under my breath

-Deliberately pausing what I’m doing to look at pictures of food, restaurant menus

-Massaging my stomach (I’ve been goofy enough a couple times to actually slide my hand under my shirt to massage it skin to skin in public but as far as I can tell nobody notices)

-Feigning ignorance if someone asks about “the noise they just heard” (Acting nonchalant or embarrassed but I’m actually so flustered T-T)

-Talking about food with more detail than necessary (Like craving some soft, warm saucy spaghetti with tender meatballs. Or crispy, perfectly battered fried shrimp tempura)

-Getting stupidly nervous and flustered if hunger if brought up in the conversation (this doesn’t happen often but it occurred once with my friend and even though I still think of them as just a friend my face was burning)

Hmmmmm favorite time I was hungry….could be the toughest question on this list lol If we’re talking about *just* being hungry and having no one domming me, I would have to say my favorite would be this one Sunday afternoon a few years ago. I was all alone in the house, hadn’t eaten a thing in about 36 hours, and I was just laying on my couch listening to my empty belly roar at me. Long, deep rumbles happening every couple minutes or so, certainly loud enough to be heard across the room. Just turned off my brain and enjoyed the sensation

13. When did I realize I liked it as a kink? I completely stumbled into it, actually. One day, when I was maybe 13 or 14, I found myself wondering what the derivation of the word “tummy” was. And after some poking around on “Ask Jeeves” (dating myself a little there), I came across a video on YouTube titled “stomach growling”. I clicked on it and I….was….hooked!!

I've been trying to work on a writing project, but my stomach keeps pestering me to eat...constantly rumbling to get my attention.

I just know I'm gonna get lightheaded if I keep this up...
