"Certainly, Miss Valkyrieā¦" Hm, it was summer by now, wasnāt it? Captain Commando couldnāt help but wonder if she ever got hot with her armor on, "letās have a look."
"Very wellā¦ Itāll take a moment before I can put this armor onā¦" Valkyrie flew away to dress up in her new armor. When she came back, howeverā¦
"Ms. Xiaomu suggested that I wear this new armor. Would this suffice in this climate?"
"ā¦erā¦ ahā¦" Well, this was awkward. He was expecting something more casual, but this caught him completely off guardā¦ and he had no idea how to properly respond to it.
"Itāsā¦ perfect for the beach, I think. If that was what Miss Xiaomu intended." Thank goodness the visor hid his eyes, as he was mostly glancing away. He was trying not to stare at her in that swimsuit.
"Ah, is that so? The beach does sound rather refreshing at this time. Perhaps that is where Xiaomu intended for me to go to." Valkyrie looked at her armor with a straight face, clearly not bothered by what she's wearing at the moment. "Should we go to the beach today, Captain?"

I really hate being treated like an idiot just because I donāt know as much about a series as the next person does.

He could feel the blade coming.Ā
In that moment, Aeon knew had made an error, vision coming back slowly to witness his mistake. Everything seemed to have moved so slowly, the tip of the blade coming ever so closely to his chest. This was it, Aeon thought with a gulp and gritted teeth. There was no turning back, nowā¦
Just before Aeonās fate was sealed, an explosion took place between the pair, just as her bladeās tip touched upon his breastplate. The two warriors were blown away from each other, Aeon landing face-first into the ground.
A massive pillar of fire had took place between them, emitting a dark aura that alerted a new presence. Something new was comingā¦
A burst of flames engulfed the area, causing Valkyrie to be blown back by the impact. It happened the moment before the decisive strike. What is going on, she thought? Was this a trap set up by the creature? Nevertheless, Valkyrie landed on her back and slid a few meters before stopping. The explosion seared her a bit, but it's not as if she couldn't brush it off. The force of the explosion is what prevented her from immediately standing up.
However, what followed is a dark aura unlike anything she had sensed before... perhaps imminent danger is upon the both of them. She lifted her head to see who had emerged from the pillar of fire. "Who's there...? Show yourself...!" she shouted at whomever was coming.
Valkyrie had an ominous feeling about this predicament...
Search for the Golden Seed
The Captain clones were knocked about, sent crashing along the floor in a heap. A few got back up, obviously annoyed, and lunged at the Valkyrie with punching attacks amplified with both fire and electricity, as they werenāt going to take that assault lying down. But, fortunately, given that theyāre only half as strong as the real people theyāre based on, if they manage to hit the Valkyrie, their attacks wonāt be all that devastating.
Still pretty annoying, though.
As for the real Captain Commando, he was squaring off with the Valkyrie clones. He frowned a bit, rubbing his templeā¦ he didnāt like the idea of fighting women, but he had to think to himself that these were evil clonesā¦ antagonists. They were going to try and tear the heroes apart, thus making this a grim fight for survival.
"Well, thenā¦" Heād say, raising his fists, "Letās get this over with."
And soon, he thought. He didnāt want this to go on any longer than it had to. The Valkyrie clones charged, their swords at the ready for both slashing and stabbing. Fortunately, the Captain Gauntlets would protect him from their attacks, and allow him to counter attack with punches that would let out bursts of electricity to throw them away from him to provide him with the momentum he needed.
The duo has their hands full with these clones. But why would whomever was in here go through the trouble of creating clones? To slay them? No, if that were the case, they could have used the Golden Seed or their own strength to do so. If she's right, these clones are but a momentary distraction for whomever was once here to escape. Attempting to make due with the clones would only prove to be a waste of time and energy.
When the Captain's clones charged at her again, Valkyrie simply used the same spell to blast the clones away. She turned to the Captain, who happened to have thrown the clones away as well. "These clones may very well be just a distraction. If we attempt to combat them further, the perpetrator could flee at any time. We must catch up as soon as possible!" she shouted, going into the next hallway.
Unfortunately for her, the clones would not simply give up that easily. Upon leaving, it didn't take long for the clones to recover from the spell and soon chase after the maiden knight.
Search for the Golden Seed
All she got was a roar in response, followed by blind swinging of axes. The lizard could not see, but he was not going to simply allow her to retake what was his now. He had tole it for the power it held, and Aeon needed it for his peopleās sakeā¦ and his own.
He was to kill a god, and this thing will help him.
Wildly flailing its axe around would open up an opportunity for Valkyrie to strike at it. If it can't see, it can't counter. Now she can truly see if her sword is effective against this beast. The moment the creature swung its axe away from her, she flew in and attempted to stab its chest, hoping that this time... it would have some sort of effect on it.
She needed the seed to safeguard Marvel Land, and if this creature does indeed possess it, she must have it back at all costs.
