My name is Thundercake, this blog is about me and the other cat roomies I live with. I was set to die in a killing place in Tampa Bay Florida, but I was rescued with my brother, Mr. Swirly's Ice cream. Such a scary time.
I live a very comfortable life now in a forever home in Montana, with my brother Mr. Swirly's Ice Cream and our other cat roommates.
Don't pick me up. Don't pet my tummy, because a long time ago someone hurt me, and bodies on long walking legs make me nervous. I let my my mom kiss my face, but no one else. For anyone else, you can pet my back, but anything more I'll run out from under the table and slap your legs.
I am special needs, and need to eat a special c/d Stress diet. My medical condition of feline lower urinary tract disease sometimes puts me in the hospital with the cone of shame and a catheter. I've almost died a couple of times from this condition, the worst time being when I had to be taken to another city to an emergency pet hospital, 45 minutes away, on Thanksgiving Day, when every other place was closed on that day. I share this disease with my brother, but we are both managing just great at this time.
I like flighty little red glowing dots, fuzzy toy mice, catnip and jingle bell balls. Human social, scared of men, I don't like other cats, but I am okay with them if they don't get too close. Sometimes I'm nice and share a cat bed with one of my roommates. Mostly, I just like to slap human legs, and think I know everything. Smiling is not in my dictionary, but grumpy is on the cover.
