On the counter in the restaurant is a red box with the name “Dylas” on it. The card attached reads, “Dylas, I have to finally admit my feelings for you. All this time that I’ve been yelling, I’ve been secretly building up more and more affection for you. I hope this properly expresses my feelings. -Doug"
Inside, of course, is a wrapped, partially melted, ice cream bar. Leon takes a seat inside the restaurant, waiting for the gift to be discovered by his poor victim.
It had been a long day of last minute gift-giving. Dylas had baked small cakes for Arthur, Meg, and Porcoline, but was unable to finish anyone else’s in time. Normally, he wouldn’t have felt so down, but something about the holidays made him realize how much he cared for the rest of the town.
Well, except for---
“... What’s this?” He asked out loud when he walked up to the red box on the counter. Dylas opened the card, blushing at the thought someone had given him a gift. Dylas, I have to finally admit my feelings for you................. Doug.
His face flushed hotly and he threw the card (which only fluttered a few feet from him). Wh-wh-what the hell is this?!! A joke!? Th-that bastard!!
Dylas slammed his palms on the counter, staring at the unopened box. He could feel his heartbeat in his skull. Angrily (maybe, anxiously?), he unwrapped the gift and looked inside at the disgusting, melted ice cream bar.
His ears twitched, and the frantic look was gone from his face. This is definitely a joke. Everyone knows I hate sweets...... But then, he is an idiot. Wh-Why am I thinking about this? I’m going upstairs. At that. he tossed the box in the trash and went to his room.
