Jeff wouldn’t allow Alan to join International Rescue until he had gained some work experience. After all, his brother’s each bring their own individual know-how to the organisation. So to ensure that he could bring something truly unique and disciplined to the table, he joined the circus and toured the world for two years.

The circus that Alan joined was called Haly’s. He never did quite graduate to a named performer, but did become best friends with another kid who was, part of a family of trapeze artists - the Flying Graysons.

Until that fateful night when the parents were killed when their trapeze was sabotaged, and all anybody could do was…

Watch them fall.

Unknown to either teenager, there were two life changing incidents that happened that night. Two vows that were made.

And occasionally, each wonders what happened to the other.

Hi guys, just wanted to make sure that you know that any comments posted by thunderbirdbee on anyone's posts for the past two weeks, weren't actually me.

My account appears to have been hacked by someone who chose to take the opportunity to say unkind and unnecessary things using my 'voice'. I'm deeply disgusted with any hurt, or upset that has been caused.

But, I also feel extreme disappointment for the anonymous shadow, that felt the need to pretend to be someone else in order to spread their discontent. I hope their day to day life is more satisfying than their virtual one.
