Something for those of us who have an f/o that is my normally prickly or stand-offish, but you’re so cute that they end up liking you!

(I have so many faves that literally would want nothing to do with me, but I gaslight myself into thinking that they’d love me anyway because they’d think I’m cute/pathetic)

Imagine

Your F/O is not normally a very friendly or open type of person. They can be closed off, unemotional, apathetic, or even hostile at times. Safe to say, they are not the type to find most people very appealing.

But something is different with you. At first they brushed you off like they would with anyone else, maybe they dismissed you or were even unkind. It hurt your feelings of course, but you didn't let it get to you.

While you didn't harass them, you stayed persistent. You stuck by their side, and bit by bit, they started to let their guard down around you. It didn't happen overnight, but you could see them soften over time.

They start to notice your mannerisms. How you stand, the way you fidget, the expressions you make. The phrases you use often, the food and drink they always see you eating, the things you get excited about.

Maybe in the beginning they didn't notice these things, or even found them annoying, but they start to find them endearing and even cute. They start to find that they feel warm when they think of you.

At first it irritates or surprises them when they feel this way, they possibly even fight it. But as time goes on, they can't help that they continue to fall more and more for you. Their armor breaks more and more until they can't deny to themselves that they can't help but adore you.

Your F/O is still stoic or somewhat cold to others, they're still the same person, but it's clear they have a special soft spot in their heart, just for you. 💚

Ok so the first pic is basically a retcon lol, the first for my lore in a while. Orignally ive had Amys starting pokemon be a Mareep (named Millie) her parents give her to help her start her journey, and while the helping out bit still is the same, ive changed the Mareep to be a Flareon instead, specifically its her dads heh (he named her Daisy) since i thought it worked better within Amys lore and personality and better represents her parents support, but also apprehension to her deciding to travel in the first place.

The second pic is basically a concept of Mirror!Amy from that one XY ep (i would kill for mirror ash) and how i could make a sorta doomed thundercloudshipping thing with it.

M!Amy is basically Lusamine. she holds her non shiny pokemon to ridiculous standards due to her obession with shiny pokemon, she pretty much sees them as trophies, tools to get more shinies and expects her shinies to be perfect because shinies are inately perfect to her.

The doomed TCS comes into the fact that M!Amy is a cold person who doesnt wanna talk to people at all (though she likes travelling with the others but doesnt want to admit like, ever) and with M!Ash being as timid as he is, they havent interacted at all and have barely built up any sort of relationship. (That is until regular Amy and Ash end up in the mirror world but shhhh that parts not done yet)

Honest as of late ive been really leaning into the fact that Amy is just a sleepy person.

She gets up at normal times, and has a normal-ish schedule, but its hard for her to fall asleep most of the time, leaving her sluggish in the morning, and her just naturally staying up later than everyone else.

Ash tries to help this (but just makes it worse) due to the fact he cares so much about her that he notices the tiniest bit of sleepyness and is like 'Oh are you tired? We can take a nap if you want!' And Amy agreeing to this every single time, cause hey, free cuddles from your love am i right? XD

Her sleep issues lighten up though once Ash and Amy start sharing a bed/tent, although the nap sessions still occur occasionally :3

Ok i dont normally just ramble/vent but i have to tell you all about a phenomenon happening to me atm lmao

(its nothing serious its just a funny but annoying coincidence)

So i rarely, and i mean *rarely* have dreams about Ash. It just hasnt happened a lot despite me loving him for 10 years lol, even rarer i have dreams i remember

I happened to get a few over the last several months, and that was great! But also,

I happned to get 3 seperate ash dreams in the last month, but none of them turned out romantic/fluffy, and the reasons why are annoying the fuck outta me XD

The most recent one specifically cause it was romantic, but i wasnt the one getting kissed😭 (for some stupid reason reason it was poke.shipping)

In conclusion,

I think i may be looking at fanart too much lmao

Im gonna be honest ive spent like an hour trying to write some lore here only for it to go nowhere, so basically its this

Mer!Amy and Ash like each other

They go on a lil date in a crystal cave Amy visits

Ash tries to confess during this but then shit goes down

He almost drowns but Amy was able to give him air via a kiss (whether its magic or not idk yet)

They both make it out ok but Amy then isolates her self away from Ash due to massive guilt and anxiety (she'd rather be alone forever than to have to worry about Ash)

But yes poor lil dudes heartbroken especially since to him, she just stopped showing up at their meet up spot (a cove near kukuis house, again this au takes place in alola) one day. (He got a note after tho explaining everything). He still showed up to the cove every day though, just in case she ended up changing her mind.

Honestly ive been thinking, and theres a couple, mainly being the team magma/aqua arc (theres a scuffle with one of them at sea mauville and it does not go well haha)

Also technically dosent count, but the period inbetween kalos and alola would be different cause there would also be a period where theyd go to amys home region heheh domestic fluff wins
