Rubato Libero (originally a Mega Man X oc) is a robot constructed by a Keronian concealing himself as a human scientist in Europe named Dr. Von Kessen. Rubato is a newer model of robot, actually considered a fully sentient android meant to capture the entire scope of the organic experience. He would frequently be displayed at science conventions by Von Kessen and, one evening in the scientist’s home, two human beings infiltrated in hopes of finding documentation related to Rubato & the military. Hearing a disturbance in the lab, Von Kessen entered & had his life threatened by the intruders. Having watched from a distance, Rubato stepped in & broke the laws of robotics by killing both intruders for his creator’s sake. That single incident labeled Rubato a ‘maverick,’ a rogue, a danger to the public. Fearing for his safety, Rubato fled to Spain & wanders around aimlessly, hiding away in various nooks & crannies of Europe to keep from being caught & dismantled. In the meantime, he acts as a force of vigilante justice, using his negative label for positive action. He is a mute robot, refusing to speak near anyone to keep his identity under wraps. Moreover, he has learned to be very emotionally inexpressive to keep from showing vulnerability. Though, he has the confidence to be flashy in appearance.
