Artemis wanted to stay in a quiet place today, working on her designs; though, a cafe didn’t have the right atmosphere, the girl really had no choice since she didn’t want to go back to the company’s headquarters. Her order had came just in time for her to start writing some notes down. She had ordered a mango slush and a light savory snack to keep her going for the time being. She had been seated in the front near the window that was close to the reception desk. The brunette stared out the window, twirling the pencil over her thumb. As she turned back to face forward, a small passed by her and immediate recognized the petite girl from her class. Artemis peered down at her half designed wedding dress. To be frank with herself, she didn’t even want to finish it. 

The girl stabbed at her snack and popped on in her mouth. The moment the spices hit her tongue, she nearly coughed on them. When fish balls get so spicy? Oh, that was right; she was no longer in America, eating mild spiced snacks anymore. The girl grabbed her mango drink and took a big gulp to cool the fire down. It was then she saw the girl from before stand up. In Artemis’s eyes, it looked like a big commotion. The waitress just tossed the rag on the table and left. Rude much, she thought. The senior saw that the other girl was frustrated with her current situation, Artemis folded her sketch and grabbed everything that was with her, then walking over to the other. “Do you need help with that?” she asked, standing next to the table.

She placed her bag, sketchbook (with the snack balancing on the cover), and drink in the seat across from Sooyoung. The brunette made a mental note to flag down a staff member to notify about her changing her seat and about the mess. Soon, she dug into her bag and pulled out pack of tissue, Artemis peeled it open and grabbed a few out help clean with the mess. She didn’t losing a few tissues. “Don’t completely swipe the towel over the laptop. You’ll just get more water in it, hold it upside down and see you can drain most of liquid. You might be able to recover the data on the motherboard, but I wouldn’t know,” she added, picking up the now wet tissues from the table.

Sooyoung scrambled to get her things together before making a mess with the rag on her laptop. Never did she think she would encounter a problem like this though it was a very massive one so to speak. She sighed before facing forward to see a the familiar face walk to her aid. Taking in the advice, Sooyoung quickly grabbed her laptop and flipped it. Surprisingly there were drops of green tea making it's way out of her laptop. "Well that worked out okay" she mumbled as she attempted to shake the remaining tea held inside her laptop.

"I sure do hope my things are still on here" she whined as the start button was continuously being pressed on. Unfortunately the screen remained blank and she grunted in annoyance. With a huff, Sooyoung faced the girl, "thank you though" she pierced her lips and closed her laptop. She didn't get her tea nor did she get any studying done. She watched Artemis grab the paper towels and she followed even though this was neither of their faults. 

Sooyoung didn't have the motivation to finish her studies nor did she want to clean up the mess she didn't make. She grabbed the wet paper towels and walked to the nearest trash can. "You didn't have to clean this up" she told Artemis. Sooyoung glanced at the girl, she's pretty..she thought admirably. "Are you...from Jeguk?" she asked though the answer was obvious.

  "So the summary of all that is many factories had a hard time in Korea and led to the females who worked there end up being slaves to Japanese soldiers and eventually America was all like "Let’s save Korea!" but only went up so far and then the Russians came into the North. There’s more but that’s what we were told to focus on for the project. Mihee smiled a bit as the girl just blinked  at her in confusion. She laughed , don’t worry its a lot easier than it seems. If you find the right documentary on it you’ll find it much more helpful than me talking. A lot of the time when people don’t understand History it’s because the teacher doesn’t make it inter-"

  Mihee stopped for a moment hearing her brother’s name mentioned and sighed as she heard the girls behind her squeal and giggle over Mikyung’s and jiho’s “cute” Twitter conversation. “I swear girls these days…” Her back shot up as she realized something. She doesn’t really talk to girls these days. Well except for Rachel and Minah and the both of them are in their inner circle. She’s never really branched out before , but knowing Mihee it’s surprising she’s made any friends at all. I guess Mikyung’s spunk and the rest of our groups… colourful personalities helped me branch out. ”I don’t even know what’s going on these days” she mumbled to herself.

Sooyoung stared at the taller girl; not knowing a word that just came out of her mouth. Her hands moved quickly over her notepad and wrote down as much as she could. If this was her calculus class then there wouldn't be much trouble in memorizing for Sooyoung. "I should probably read more documentaries like you said" she mumbled to herself as she wrote the last word that came across her ears. "What was that?" both her brows arched at the unfinished sentenced. Her eyes blinked as she turned her head to face the giggling girls. "Jiho? Mikyung?" she whispered to herself. "I feel like I've heard those names before."

She focused back on her partner who mumbled to herself words Sooyoung couldn't make out. "Are you okay?" lips pierced as parted lips finally spoke. As much as she wanted this project to be over with, she didn't want her partner to be zoning out into her own thoughts. She does seem like someone who would do such a thing.

Accidents - OPEN

Sooyoung settled herself in the seat nearest to the window. Her surroundings included limited amount of people but several open chairs. Even though people could find her head in her books at the library, Sooyoung wanted to finish her Literature project in the nearest cafe. The music was low-sounding with small talk from the people that were seats away. The sun beamed on her laptop but luckily drapes covered her skin from the irritating daylight.

"What would you like" her ears caught the sound of a woman with a rather deep tone. "Green Tea please.." Sooyoung requested with her eyes glued to the woman's tired ones. She looked like she hated her job more than anything else on this globe; Sooyoung felt a bit of pity for the lady.

As the older lady walked off, Sooyoung lifted the screen of her laptop to begin with her schoolwork. "Korean war.." she spoke to herself as her fingers moved along the keyboard. Her mind was lost in the readings, articles after articles, Sooyoung couldn't find the answer to what she was assigned. "This is so an-" she was cut off by the hot sensation against her fingers. Petite frame rose fast enough to dodge the rest of the liquid. Her eyes wondered to the woman who she saw not too long ago. Silence. "Sorry" the lady uttered. She tossed the dirty rag on Sooyoung's laptop and walked off. "This crazy lady" she whispered and sat back down only to stare at her now ruined laptop. 'I don't want to buy a new one..."

Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff{Mihee/Open Para}

Mihee stretched and leaned back in her chair. The teacher had just given them a slide show project to do in-class and assigned partners. It was on World War II and what was going on in Korea during the time period. Mihee was a history buff and loved learning about WWII so the project was easy peasy for her. She could do it in a snap of a finger since there’s no research to be done.  

Mihee allowed herself to start thinking about her brother and how worried she was about him. The poor boy was going through so many emotions and she had no idea how to deal with it. She felt like a poor baby sister for not being able to help much. But she knew her oppa would stroke her hair and tell her that just her being happy safe was good enough for him. She’s gotten that talk many , many times. She loves him very much and if anything was to ever happen to him she wouldn’t know what she would do.

Mihee pulled herself out of her thoughts as her partner walked up to her desk and pulled up a chair next to her. She smiled and informed her partner of her prior knowledge and that she could help them learn more about the topic and start the project.

Sooyoung was close to falling asleep as her teacher explained the new project for the class. She stayed up last night for her other homework that she was unable to finish which left her with two hours of sleep only. This was the first time she'd ever last a massive about of sleep.

"Lee Mihee and Han Sooyoun-" Sooyoung opened her eyes wide, feeling a bit sizzy. "You two are partners" the teacher continued. Sooyoung blinked and turned her head to see Mihee sitting a few seats behind her. "Isn't she the girl with the weird brother?" she quietly whispered. Sooyoung connected her brows and turned back around with a nod towards the teacher.

History was not her strong spot but she would do as much as she could to help her partner. Sooyoung slowly walked towards Mihee and sat on the seat adjacent to her. "Hi" she smiled. She pulled out her notes and placed them on the table. She knew Mihee by being the top of the class, in history at least. Sooyoung didn't fall too behind on the top charts. "I'm not good with history..so.." she stopped as her partner informed her on every detail.

Saturday Studies - OPEN/Haejin

When he was free from his extracurricular activities, Hae Jin could usually be found studying at home. He hated libraries, not because the place was not nice, but because it was filled with idiots that did not understand the meaning of keeping their mouths shut. His house was often empty and his room was far from the main action, plus his little sister knew when to behave and leave him alone. She could be a brat, but a tolerable one at least. He had plenty of exams that he had to study for, but after fainting from exhaustion last time, he decided that it would be best not to overestimate his capacity to stay awake all night. He was surprised to enjoy school more and get even better results. His mother made sure he took care of his health anyway.

After his morning soccer practice, he was supposed to meet a sophomore student who needed tutoring in algebra and physics. The local library sounded like the perfect place to spend the afternoon at, he knew there were rooms in which they would be allowed to talk. He still decided to get there earlier to study history. Although he had a natural talent at solving math problems or understanding complex physics and chemistry formulas, it was another story when it came to learning things by heart. He had to be organized and very diligent to be able to memorize everything.

He was so focused on his reading that he never noticed the person who suddenly sat in from of him. It was only when she talked that he frowned, not entirely happy to be disturbed. It could not be the sophomore it was waiting for, so he wondered why someone would want something from him, especially in a local library where he barely knew anyone. He raised his head, just in time to see the girl smiling gently at him, and his heart skipped a beat. He knew her… or at least he was almost sure he did. It was easy to remember the names and faces of the management succession students as there were not many, even at Jeguk High. It was even more true when those students were seniors. Which was her case.

"… me? Um… hello, I- uh…" He looked on both sides, wondering if she was actually talking to him. What could a girl like her possibly with a boy like him? She was way out of his league. He could barely remember his own name by now. "Nice books. I mean…" He was about to hide under the table, how could he be so embarrassing? "Hi." His face was probably dark red at that exact moment. He wanted to ask her what he could help her with, but the words just wouldn’t come out. "Hae Jin." He scratched the back on his head while closing his eyes, feeling totally humiliated. "That’s my name… kind of. I mean yes, that’s really my name. Sooyoung, right? That’s yours." Just stop.

She followed his eyes to see if there was anyone else that caught his attention. Fortunately it was just her but his sudden stuttered words caught her off guard. She tried her best to hold in the small laugh and only looked down at her books as he complimented them. It seemed a bit unusual; a compliment of her books. She was sure there were plenty of copies in the school. Maybe he should get one.

"Hi" her voice was soft and quiet enough for him to hear. He seemed nervous to speak to her which didn't come out as a surprise. "Hae Jin.." she nodded making sure she'll remember for next time if they every run into each other.

She froze for a moment when her name was mentioned, how did he know? Her smile returned and she nodded once more, "Sooyoung..Han Sooyoung" she said as she pulled her books together, obviously ignoring the fact that she came for help. She assumed her forgot her request for help too but it didn't bother her, she was always up for talk whether it be with someone she does or doesn't know.

Her elbows were placed on the table as she rested her chin on both palms, admiring his awkward talk just then. "How do you know my name?" she asked and was sure her name wasn't spoken around Jeguk, or at least that's what she hopes. Before he could answer, she leaned over close enough for her hair to flow over his paperwork, "what's this?" she asked quietly. Her talkative side was rising but she hoped he didn't mind

Saturday Studies - OPEN

  The local library was a constant visit place for Han Sooyoung. Considering her social status, people would believe that she has her own library in which she does but prefers a place a little further than her aunt's eyes could see. Day by day she could hear her aunt arguing with her arrogant boyfriend who believes he could inherit all the money that went into the mansion he's living in at the moment. Please. There was nothing she wanted more than to be living with her younger brothers and her mother, but not so much her father.

She spent the afternoon studying for her exam that isn't until a week later but she had the tendency to do things a little too early. She did, however, have a problem with this section of the lesson. It was unusual for someone like her; someone who's mostly at the top of the class to be struggling. 

"Why isn't this working! I did it correctly! Cosine of 3x to the fourth...is that even possible?" she mumbled to herself but it was louder than expected.

Before she could curse herself again, she spotted a familiar face. She squinted her eyes to get a better look but no one came to mind, though she did see them in school. Her bottom lip was pierced between her teeth before she quickly packed her stuff and sat in front of the student. She observed what they were doing before they could notice her awkward approach. "Can you help me?" her voice was gentle as a small smile appeared on her lips.
