Important: Blog Closed/Indefinite Hiatus (PLEASE READ)

Happy new year, friends, I hope that 2024 treats you well.

As much as I want to start this year off with new threads, new memes, and replies so many of you have been waiting for, I think it may be time that I put this blog on an indefinite hiatus. Effectively closing thxvclvxts for the time being.

As much as I have loved being here and have loved writing with everyone I’ve met, I just can’t find the energy to respond to threads anymore and I can’t find the energy to be here. A lot of the people I’ve written with have gone inactive and honestly one of the people I wrote with most left the rp community over a year ago now. I keep trying to find the motivation to come back and the time to write and run on a queue but for now, that isn’t something that I feel I can realistically do.

I don’t want anyone to think that it’s because of anything that happened while I was here, it is simply because I do not have the same time or priorities I had when I started this blog, and I can’t continue to keep you waiting for my replies and promising to come back when I truly do not know when I will have the time to do so. There were so many things I had wanted to do with my characters and so much development I had planned for each and every one of them, but I quite honestly don’t find myself drawn to being on this blog anymore. I’m so incredibly sorry to those who’ve waited for me for so long, but I want you all to know that I love you and that if you need me, I will be here. If you have my discord you can always message me there, I will always be a listening ear and a friend to you if you need me. Thank you all so much for the friendship you have given me, and for the opportunities to write with you all.

I’m so sorry I waited so long to tell you all that I needed to go on this indefinite hiatus and close this blog. Thank you for waiting for me, and most importantly thank you for writing with me for so many years across so many blogs. I will miss the community I cultivated.

You have all been such wonderful people and such kind individuals, so thank you for that.

I’m planning on coming back, I promise I am. I finally feel like I’m truly up to doing so, and I have several replies in my drafts so those will be the first things I do when I return. Following that, I’ll be writing some opens. I will admit I’ll probably be running mostly on a queue system, as I work full time and when I get home I regularly don’t have the proper brain capacity to write anything.

If you want a starter from me, please like this. I will be trying to do some replies/starters Tuesday night when I get home (one of two days a week I tend not to go to the gym after work). If we have a ship please let me know if you want to continue writing that ship.

Click the source link to access this free downloadable template’s Google Drive. I would like to end today's walk down memory lane with a very experimental but very straightforward template I created years and years ago. I am a huge fan of Baz Luhrmann and The Great Gatsby, and at some point, I was planning to release a Gatsby-themed mystery roleplay. I believe I archived that project around the time I started college. So when I was working on an interest check, I came up with a template without any textures or colorings, and I released it in case anyone could use it for their own projects—some things never change.

The template has two sections, the mansion and the sky above it (which are completely different images believe it or not) and it also includes a little folder with all of the lighting effects I added myself. You can use this as a base and you can also take a little look at how the effects work if you would like to emulate them on a different graphic. This is mainly aimed at graphic newbies, who would like to come up with something cool and clean for their own templates. But anyone else can also use it. Always a pleasure.

Sidenotes: The fonts used are Death Maach NCV and Cassannet Regular.
