As of the 31st July 2023, this blog is officially closed.

It's been a long hiatus, but I've finally reached the point where I can look back at my catalogue of work and the amazing people I've met on here and be satisfied with making it permanent.

At the time of writing this, I currently have 3,810 followers who I truly, whole-heartedly appreciate. I have 10 completed series; 17 completed mini-series; 61 one-shots and more drabbles than I can possibly even count. And I'm done. I just don't have any more stories left to tell.

I've cleaned up the blog a little, so you'll notice that the ongoing series I was working on have disappeared. I can't leave them on here unfinished - it will drive me crazy. But I will leave this page up so that there's still an archive of my work for anybody that wants to read it from time to time.

And you'll still be able to find me over on my primary, @hanaissunshine, if anybody wants to keep in touch 🖤 and also over on @a-new-superhero where I'm most active these days.

I still love TWD. Daryl Dixon is my forever comfort character, and I'm excited to watch the spin-offs and keep up with the diverging storylines going forward. But this is a chapter that I'm comfortable closing.

Thank you so so so much for all of your support over the years. It has meant the absolute world to me.

We're Closing Up Shop.

Yes, folks. You have read that right. After serious thought and talk between Doe and I, we've decided to close the blog up.

The idea has been brewing in my head for a while now, especially with how little time we both have and how things irl have come to be. We both adore this place and wish we had the time to answer all the lovely requests you guys send us, but sadly, things just don't turn out for the best sometimes.

I won't divulge on Doe's circumstances but suffice it to say that they're the same as mine at their foundation. Free time is scarce nowadays for the two of us and though we love writing for Magi, we must learn to compromise where we can.

I started this blog I think around early 2018 and for what's it's worth, I've loved every second of it. I also feel bad that my updates before Doe came along were so sporadic, but it was an endeavor I loved undertaking back then all the same. Writing these magnificent scenarios and headcanons was amazing and helped me a bunch with my own fics, so I'm always gonna love you guys for that. I wish we had the time to close up shop in a cleaner way and actually empty out the inbox, but sadly that isn't possible at the moment. Because my conscience won't let me, I won't be deleting them and maybe if I have some time someday, I'll finish them up and let that be the end of it. This blog will continue on as an archive and hope that brings much enjoyment to those who find it. Not only that but it may just become a place to promote other open blogs too whenever time allows me the freedom to do so.

Well, I guess I've said all I've wanted to. Again a big ole thank you to all you lovelies who had followed and requested these past years and who have come back time and time again to read what we write. It has been a blast and we hope that wherever you are, life finds and treats you well.

A short farewell.

Hey guys,

Hope you're all well and staying safe and sane.

It’s been such a long time since I posted on here that it probably goes without saying, but I have made the difficult decision that I am done writing for SOA, and, I think, finished writing fanfic in general. Writing for these characters got me through some super hard times when I really needed something to focus on and distract my mind, but I guess, as I've gotten a little older, and particularly during the numerous lockdowns, I've found other distractions and what I need to do in order to look after myself has shifted.

I just want to thank you all for your support and friendship. It has meant the absolute world to me.

I'm not going to delete @charmingoutlaws - I'll leave it up as an archive of my work, so people can read over any old fics if they feel the need.

Otherwise, I'll still be lurking, especially over on my primary @hanaissunshine, and you can find my original work over on Wordpress here. Also, if you're someone that I've chatted with and stuff, hit me up and maybe we can exchange Insta's or something, as that's generally where I'm most active now.
