I usually don't post much on here. Tumblr used to be important to me mainly to chat with people and to share news about Glee. Over the past few years I've lost the interest in this site; however, these days I feel like speaking out and sharing my thoughts. Some of you might know that I'm originally from Belarus, I don't live there any longer mainly because living there has been made impossible by the fraudulent and cruel authorities. Last Sunday, the right to vote freely was stolen from the Belarusian people yet again. While the dictator Lukashenka is holding on to power with a tight grip, people are revolting, demanding freedom, democracy and new presidential elections. Even though, I live abroad I stand by my fellow Belarusians supporting them by spreading the news through my blog: http://maryiastruth.blogspot.com (please feel free to visit and comment on the posts). The situation in Belarus right now is frightening; people are being attacked and killed by police, the very same police that swore to protect them. I'm deeply distraught but also proud of Belarusians, proud of how strong and courageous they are. Let us all support the Belarusian people!
