Mrs. Evans (Chris Evans fic)
Hi all! I know it’s been FOREVER and I am so sorry about that. As you know, I’m in nursing school (which is why I selfishly make the reader a nurse in my writing sometimes lol) and it’s always crazy. I had spring break this week though, so after recovering all week, I decided to write a lil somethin’
Summery: You catch Chris calling prospective colleagues out for not giving you the full respect that you deserve. But Chris can’t stay scary for long when its just the two of you… or can he?
Word Count: 1213
Warnings: fluff! I think it says f*** once or twice
“I’m really sorry that you feel that way, but I cannot be a part of this project.” Chris said simply, sitting in his office in front of his computer on a zoom call.
“Mr. Evans,” the voice on the other side of the call tried to explain, “it’s his choice whether or not to get vaccinated.”
“And it’s my choice whether or not to put myself, my family and my team at risk of getting and spreading COVID. I cannot work this closely and unmasked with someone who refuses to be vaccinated.” Chris explained. You watched from the doorway, assuming he didn’t see you.
“Aren’t you more at risk getting it from your wife than from your costars?” another voice said. “Y/N is a nurse, isn’t she?”
Chris’s face suddenly went cold, “Don’t bring my wife or her profession into this.”
“Oh— Mr. Evans, I mean no disrespect, I was merely making a point.” the man stammered.
“Yes, well, if you’re going to refer to my wife, you will refer to her the same way you refer to me, with respect. She is Mrs. Evans to you.” The look in Chris’s eyes as he spoke was one that you rarely see, he was in full protection mode, “And my wife is a nurse and she’s a damn good one, who always puts her patients' needs before her own. That’s why she worked overtime throughout the peaks of the pandemic. She has put more bodies in bags this past year than past nurses have in their entire careers. She risked her life to keep people alive, I will not use my name recognition to help some anti-vax fucker make money off of a feature film. That would be a slap in the face to my wife, her colleagues, and most importantly, her patients.”
“Yes, Mr. Evans. Understood.” the voice gulped.
“Good luck finding someone else.” Chris said and promptly ended the call, letting out an exasperated sigh, “How much of that did you hear, baby?”
“‘That is Mrs. Evans to you.’” you quoted his words right back at him.
He chuckled, “Damn straight. Get over here, Mrs. Evans.”
You sauntered over to his desk, Chris turned his chair and pulled close to him by your hips. You stood between his legs, running your fingers through his hair.
He purred at the sensation, reaching around and grabbing a handful of ass, “How did I get so lucky?”
“You?” you questioned, “How did I get so lucky?! I love how you defend me and my work.”
Chris looked up at you, “Always, baby. I’ll defend and protect you to the ends of the earth.”
“You know I’ll do the same for you, right?” you asked.
“Oh trust me, I know. I’ve seen you in action after a few drinks.” he playfully squeezed your back side, causing you to yelp with surprise.
“Chris!” you scolded.
He smirked up at you, “What? Ticklish?”
Your cheeks grew hot, “… you know the answer to that question…”
“Do I?” he asked, playfully raising an eyebrow and wiggling his fingers at you.
“Oh hell no.” you grumbled, taking his hands in yours.
Chris chuckled to himself, “I’ll getcha at some point.”
You walked by the laundry room to see Chris bent over, switching the clothes from the washer to the dryer. This was the perfect opportunity to scare your husband with a little tickle attack, payback for all times he’s done the same to you. You didn’t even take a moment to weigh out the consequences, you just went straight for his sides, squeezing them just above the waist band of his sweats.
“AUGHHH!” he yelled out, standing straight up and turning to stare you down.
Now you were finally weighing the consequences of your behavior. “Ummm… hi, baby.” you smiled weakly, backing away slowly.
“Are we gonna do this the easy way or the hard way?” he asked simply, mischief sparkled in his blue eyes.
You quickly turned and started sprinting, “Dodger! HELP ME!”
This was your last lifeline, when you and Chris wrestled and play fought, Dodger would often throw himself in the middle and growl at Chris to protect his mommy. Maybe your furry son would come to your rescue.
Chris quickly caught you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you against his chest, “Nice try, babe. Dodge is at the groomers until 4.”
“FUCK!” you cried out.
Your husband clicked his tongue and walked towards the living room with you still in his arms and started lighting prying at your sides, “Such hideous language from such a beautiful woman.”
“Chrihihissss!” you squeaked through your giggles and sunk down on to the carpet, barely able to hold your own weight from being flustered AND tickled.
Chris easily wrestled you to lay down on your back, he instantly went for your inner thighs, pinching and squeezing lightly.
You cried out and laughter bubbled over, “Nohohoho!” You were expecting him to target your tummy or ribs first, you were not prepared.
“Mmmm,” Chris growled playfully, continuing his attack, “Gimme them thighs!”
You tried your best to grab hold of his wrists to get his hands away.
“Y/N Evans, you’re about to lose your arm privileges.” he taunted.
But you grabbed one of his wrists and before pushing his hand away, he used his strength to get your arm up and your armpits exposed.
“That’s it!” he grabbed hold of your other arm, pulled it above your head, held your wrists there with one hand, and wiggled his fingers above your armpits with the other, “Arm privileges revoked!”
You winced, braced yourself, and tried to hold in the nervous giggles as Chris’s wiggling fingers slowly grew closer and closer.
“I’m not even tickling you yet!” he chuckled, “Are you just THAT ticklish?”
“Stop acting like this is new information!” you cried out.
The tickling claw finally made contact with your armpits, the scream the exited your body was so high pitched that it could’ve cracked the windows.
“Who is the cutest, most ticklish wife in the world?” Chris asked teasingly.
You thrashed your body trying to dodge his fingers but it was no use, you were completely pinned, “I HATE YOU!”
“No you don’t.” He corrected you with a smirk and the tickles traveled down from your armpits to your ribs.
Your squeals went up and octave but you managed to cry out, “Yehehehes I doooo.”
“You love me and you love when I tickle torture you just like this,” he teased as he prodded and tickled you between each rib, “If you didn’t, you wouldn’t have started this whole ordeal, hm?”
You squeezed your eyes shut and turned your head away from him with embarrassment.
“Just agree and I’ll stooooooop…” he sang.
“FINE! YEHEHES!” you croaked through horse laughter and screeches.
Chris released your wrists and the tickling ceased, “There. Now was that so hard, Mrs. Evans?”
You couldn’t answer, you just curled up in a ball and rolled on your side.
“Aww, poor thing.” he gushed then laid down on the floor next to you and pulled you in for a cuddle, “I’m sorry.”
“No, you’re not.” you grumbled into his cotton t-shirt.
Your husband chuckled and kissed your head sweetly, “You’re right, I’m not.”
Another one of my fics has reached 1,000 notes! WOW! This is so wild! Thank you to everyone who reads, likes, comments, reblogs, etc. It really does mean the world ❤️
The Red Effect (Chris Evans fic)
In honor of the release of Red (Taylor’s Version), I wrote a little fic!
Summery: Y/N is a big Taylor Swift fan and has to make an agreement with Chris for the new album release
Word Count: 1382
Warnings: FLUFF, slightly suggestive moments, a swear word or two, but 99.5% fluff
“Chris, babe. Can you do me a favor tomorrow morning?” You casually asked your boyfriend from the passenger's seat of his car.
“Of course, anything.” He responded by placing a loving hand on your knee.
You smirked a little, wondering how he was going to react to this very serious request, “I need you to break up with me for like 3 hours tomorrow.”
Chris choked on his laughter, “Excuse me?!”
“Only for a few hours, Red Taylor’s Version is dropping tomorrow and I wanna get the full effect. I can’t be in a happy healthy relationship.” You explained.
He dramatically knocked the back of his head on the headrest, “And what do I get out of this? I have to be the bad guy here!”
“We can do that thing you’ve been wanting to try.” You said a little too quickly.
“You’ve been thinking about this, haven’t you?!” He gasped.
You rolled your eyes, “I had to come in with a plan so you couldn’t say no.”
Chris looked over and gave you some sassy side eye, “Fine, but only for three hours.”
The next morning you were at the kitchen counter eating breakfast while Chris stood at the sink loading the dishwasher.
“Babe, can you grab me the almond milk out of the fridge?” You asked sweetly as you poured your cereal.
“God, Y/N! You couldn’t just get it while you were getting the cereal!” Chris snapped coldly at you.
Your heart skipped a beat for a second, what the hell was wrong with him this morning?
“Babe, it’s Taylor day. I’m breaking up with you for three hours.” He reminded you softly.
You gasped, “Oh yeah, I just didn’t think we’d start this early.”
“Do you wanna wait until later?” He asked.
“No, now is fine. I’m not gonna stop what you have going.” You said.
“Now where was I?” He roared, “How dare you ask me to go to the fridge two feet away from me to get you almond milk for your cereal?!”
You bit your lip trying to hold back your giggles, he was taking this very seriously.
“Don’t giggle at me when I’m trying to break up with you!” His glare was a little bit terrifying, he was really flexing his acting muscles here.
You, however, had no acting muscles, so all you could do was cover your face so he couldn’t see you or your giggles.
He sighed dramatically, “I think it’s time for us to call it quits. I can’t continue a life of you demanding almond milk for your cereal. It’s just not working for me.”
You took a deep breath and choked through more giggles, “I understand.”
He had to look away and bite his lip for a second so as not to lose character, “Well,I’m gonna take Dodger out for a while. Have fun with Taylor. Hope she’s worth it.”
After he made his dramatic exit from the kitchen, you could hear him giggling in the mud room as he leashed up Dodger for a long walk in the woods.
You cleaned the house as you had the new Red album blasting throughout the house. You decided to check social media to see how the rest of the world was reacting to your Lord and Savior’s revamped album. Upon opening Instagram, there was an updated story from Chris Evans, of all people. Nothing from ASP was happening and he wasn’t playing piano… maybe a snap of the scenic landscape in the woods? You opened it to see his face and his cheesing smile.
“So y/n asked me to break up with her for a couple hours today so she could feel the full effects of Taylor Swift’s rerelease of the Red album… so I’m just out here in the woods with Dodge, waiting out the next three hours until we can get back together.”
If he wanted to get the internet involved in this breakup, two could play at this game. You set up your phone and filmed a story of yourself jumping on your California king bed, throwing pillows, and singing “I Knew You Were Trouble” with your whole chest.
Later you were laying on your bathroom floor screaming the bridge to All Too Well, ten minute version, of course. And the door opens slightly and you see Chris standing above you holding his phone.
“Can I take a shower?” He asked.
You growled and threw a roll of toilet paper at his face, “we’re still broken up! Use the guest bathroom, asshole!”
Three hours was almost up and you had successfully jammed to Red and all of its vault tracks twice through. You and Chris continued your social media charade because his fans were living for it. You even printed out a picture of him and put it on his dart board. You posted a picture of his darted up face with We Are Never Getting Back Together playing in the background. Chris posted videos of him wandering around Lowe’s and Target just trying to kill three hours. He came home with a few bags with stuff you all needed for the house and groceries, while he put everything away, an alarm on his phone went off.
He ran to the bottom of the stairs and called out for you, “That’s three hours! Get over here, ya goob!”
You jumped off your bed and ran downstairs straight into his arms, “I missed you!”
“Was the album worth having a three hour break up?” He asked, kissing your face all over.
You giggled, “Yes it was and your fans roasting you and hyping me on social media made it even better.”
Chris chuckled and carried you over to the living room couch, “My fans turning on me is funny to you?!”
You nodded nervously, knowing as soon as he dropped you onto that fluffy couch, you were toast.
“I’ll show you funny!” He lobbed you (as gently as possible) onto the coach and climbed on top of you.
“CHRIS! DON’T!” You cried out.
“Don’t what?” He asked innocently as he hovered over you.
You scrunched your nose, knowing he was trying to get you to say ”tickle me” but you knew his tricks. “I’m not falling for it!”
He grabbed your wrist and pinned it above your head, “Then you won’t be shocked when I do this!” He scribbled his fingers into your armpit.
You screamed out with glee, “IT TICKLES!”
“Does it?” He said sarcastically, continuing his attack, “I had no idea!”
You tried to wiggle away but it was no use, Chris was a very large man. You were so stuck.
His attack moved down to your ribs and your laughter went up an octave. Chris couldn’t help but smile at his squirmy, happy girlfriend under him. Your laugh was among one of the many things he loved about you. The way that you squealed like a little piglet whenever he got one of your bad spots and how you would throw your head back and smile so big without a care in the world.
“Do you forgive me for my transgressions over the almond milk?” He asked, stopping the tickles.
You nodded through the residual giggles, “Yes!”
You went about the rest of your day as if no breakup had ever happened. Everything was back to normal. You stood at the kitchen counter, adding toppings to the pizza you had made for dinner that night; Treacherous was playing softly in the background. Chris walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist.
“I like this one, it’s happy.” He said quietly.
You tapped your phone to start it over again so he could hear the entire thing.
As the intro started, Chris began to slowly sway both of your bodies along with the music.
“Put your lips close to mine
As long as they don't touch
Out of focus, eye to eye
'Til the gravity's too much
And I'll do anything you say
If you say it with your hands
And I'd be smart to walk away
But you're quicksand.”
Chris purred into your ear, “Damn, those lyrics.”
You hummed, “I know right.”
He softly nibbled your ear, “Pizza can wait, I wanna cash in on my end of the bargain.”
hey guys, any chance we could get this to 1000 notes? 🥺
AHHHHH! WE MADE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO READS MY WORK 💕

“No, you’re not.” you grumbled into his cotton t-shirt.
Your husband chuckled and kissed your head sweetly, “You’re right, I’m not.”
Monthly Visitor (Chris Evans fic)
Summary: Chris offers moral support while you have your period.
Word Count: 1063
Warnings: just fluff and talk about periods
You were miserable, curled up on the couch with one heating pad on your lower belly and another one on your lower back. Bob’s Burgers played on your TV softly in the background as you searched through UberEats on your phone. Your monthly visitor was back with a vengeance and you needed to eat through the pain. Suddenly, your new boyfriend’s name flashed across your screen to facetime. You wanted to talk to him so badly but… you also looked like hell. Was it too soon for him to see you like this? During your deep internal monologue, you accidentally answered. Chris’s kind voice pulled you out of your trance.
“Hey bub!” He greeted you with a smile, “Whatcha up to?”
“Oh shit, I didn’t mean to answer! I look so ugly!” You covered your front camera with your other hand, “Don’t look at me!”
Chris chuckled, “You look great, move your hand.”
You sheepishly removed your hand to show your face.
“There’s my Y/N.” He beamed at you through the screen, making your stomach flutter.
Suddenly, you felt a sharp pain in your abdomen, making you hiss quietly.
“What’s wrong?” Chris asked.
“Ummm…” you stalled, trying to decide whether or not sharing your current state was too much information.
Your boyfriend gave a knowing smile, “Y/N, you can tell me when you have your period. I’m a grown ass man, I can handle basic biology.”
You let out a sigh of relief, “Okay great because I feel like shit and I’m not up for pretending to be a happy camper right now.”
“Aw, my poor bub.” Chris cooed, “Want me to come take care of you?”
“You don’t have to do that.” you shook your head.
“But I want to.” He insisted.
Your stomach fluttered again, “For real?”
“Of course, I love hanging out with you! What can I bring?” He asked.
“Dinner? I was just searching through UberEats.” You suggested.
“Done!” Chris gave you another award winning smile, “I’ll see you soon.”
You groaned with pain and fatigue as you got up to let Chris into your apartment. He stood at your door with grocery bags in each arm.
“Hey, come in.” You felt just a little bit less crappy, just seeing his smiling face.
“How are you feeling?” He walked in and set the bags down.
“Honestly? Like I’ve been hit by a truck.” you sighed.
Chris pulled a takeout back out from one of the grocery bags, “Chinese?”
You nodded, “Thank you, beeb.”
He continued to unpack the bag, “I also bought cookie dough ice cream, Reese’s cups, and Oreos.”
“Those are all my favorites!” Your eyes began to water a little. Where was this coming from? “You’re too good to me.”
Chris dropped what he was doing and approached you with arms wide for a hug, “Awww, bub. Are you crying?”
You walked straight into his arms, letting him envelope you entirely, “It just happened.”
He tenderly kissed the crown of your head and rubbed your back, “Wanna go lay on the couch and I’ll bring you your dinner?”
“In a second,” You mumbled into his chest, “Can you just hold me for a little longer?”
Chris pulled you in closer and tighter, “Of course, bub. I’ll hold ya all night if you need it.”
“Lay down on your stomach, I’m gonna massage your back.” Chris ordered after hearing your groan from pain for the umpteenth time.
“You don’t have to…” you protested weakly.
“I want to, now lay down.” He insisted.
You huffed and did as you were told. Chris straddled your back, being sure not to put all his weight on you. He started rubbing and kneading at the right muscles on your shoulders and upper back. Your whole body relaxed underneath his large hands.
You hummed happily as your menstrual pain became a distant memory.
“Good?” Chris asked.
You nodded, still face down on the couch.
He then ventured down to the middle and lower part of your back, when he reached an especially sore part, you moaned in sheer bliss. Chris smirked to himself because he’d heard that sound before in a different setting. He loved to make you moan. His fingers softly trailed under your shirt and across the bare skin of your sides, making you clench all your muscles. “You okay?”
“Mmhm…” you inhaled sharply.
Chris smirked to himself, just hoping that what he thought was happening was correct. He briefly went back to massaging your back before lodging his attack on your sides.
“CHRIIIIIIS!” you squealed with surprise.
“I knew I’d find it eventually!” He stopped tickling your sides and started rubbing your back.
Through your residual giggles, you asked, “Find what?”
“Your tickle spot.” He leaned down and whispered in your ear.
Your body tensed again as his soft breath tickled your ear and neck.
Chris chuckled into your neck, “Another one?”
You buried your face into the couch cushion with embarrassment.
“This is the best thing ever!” Your boyfriend was utterly giddy.
You turned your head to glare at him, “Is it? Is it really though?”
He sighed, “Alright, I promise I’m done tickling for the night. Want me to keep rubbing your back?”
You nodded, “Yes please. Don’t break your promise or you’ll be out on the street for the night, Mister.”
You rolled onto your back and stretched your arms wide across your bed, nudging a sleeping Chris in the process.
Chris groaned and turned towards you with a grumpy yawn, making you giggle.
“What’s so funny, bub?” He asked, his voice was still husky from waking up.
“You’re always so grumpy in the morning.” You ran your fingers through his bed head.
“One of my many flaws.” Chris hummed, “Are you feeling better? You seem happy.”
You nodded eagerly, “Much better, second day is always the worst with my monthly visitor.”
“Well you handled it like a champ yesterday.” He wiggled closer to you and kissed your neck.
“No thanks to you, tricking me into tickles with a back massage.” You huffed.
“That reminds me,” Chris sat himself up and swung his leg over you to straddle your hips, “I have so many more spots I want to try!”
“You dick!” You cried trying to wiggle out from under him.
He teasingly wiggled his fingers at you, “Oooh, you’re gonna get it now!”
Baby’s First Christmas (Chris Evans fic)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my lovely readers and friends. I threw this little fic together so we could all have a little dad!Chris Evans fluff for the holidays!
Summery: Your first Christmas as a new mom is very stressful but luckily you have Chris and his family to help you through.
Word Count: 1333
Warnings: HELLA FLUFF, mentions of sex, mention of breast feeding (which is completely natural, so if that grosses you out, please reevaluate), probably a cuss or two
Christmas Eve looked a little different this year. Before it was just you and your husband Chris snuggled up on the coach with a bottle of wine and a Christmas movie. You two took turns with who got to pick which movie. Chris’s turn last year, you guys watched Die Hard, the jury is still out on whether it’s truly a Christmas movie or not. But this year, the two of you had a new addition. Baby Gracie came in and rocked your worlds in September of this year and life was never the same, in the best way. You sat on the floor of your and Chris’s walk-in closet, wrapping presents like a mad woman after putting it off all day. Chris was cleaning up dinner while the rest of his family took turns passing the newest Evans around. You felt like such a bad wife for not helping Chris, a bad daughter and sister in law for not entertaining your guests, and a bad mother for not spending your baby’s first Christmas Eve with her. Tears stung in the corner of your eyes as you continued wrapping present after present. Was this too much? Were you spoiling your baby too much? Would she end up being a little brat asking for more and more as christmases went by?! Like for most women, adjusting to motherhood was really fucking hard. Often you’d forget to take care of yourself in the midst of keeping another helpless human alive and that would eventually catch up with you, leading to a crash and a tsunami of emotions and guilt. You could feel another one coming, though you tried to push it off until next week as best as you could.
“Y/N!” Chris’s voice called in the distance. You could hear it growing closer as he called for you over and over.
“I’m in here.” You croaked, trying to suck the tears and emotion back in, just for another 48 hours.
Chris opened the double doors to the closet, “Whatcha doin’ in here, beeb?”
“I’m so behind on wrapping, these presents will never be ready by the morning if I don’t keep moving quickly.” You sniffled, purposefully not looking at him so he wouldn’t see your tears.
He kneeled down next to you, “Oh Honey, come downstairs. You’re missing all the fun.”
That was the last thing you needed to hear, guilt rushed over you. You were missing your baby’s very first Christmas. What the hell was wrong with you? You burst into loud sobs.
Chris instantly enveloped you in his arms, trying to comfort you. He was kicking himself for not watching his stupid mouth, saying stupid shit that made the person he loves most in this world cry.
“I ruined Gracie’s first Christmas!” You were barely audible through your sobs.
“No baby, you’re doing amazing!” Chris muttered into your forehead, “You’re the best mom in the world!”
“No I’m not!” You hysterically cry out.
You heard footsteps coming toward the closet where you and Chris sat amongst all the presents and wrapping. You tried to calm yourself but you couldn’t.
“Oh, honey!” Chris’s mother’s sweet voice cooed, “What’s going on?”
You buried yourself into Chris’s chest, she couldn’t see you like this.
“She’s been so busy with everything Ma, between decorating the house, making sure Grace and I have everything, shopping, cooking dinner, and baking desserts… poor thing hasn’t gotten around to wrapping presents.” Chris explained, “It’s my fault, I shoulda helped out more.”
You shot your head up at your husband, “It’s not your fault, you’ve been wonderful. You’ve done so much.”
“So have you, now would ya treat yourself with the same understanding you give to me?” He rubbed your back lovingly.
Before you could protest, Lisa interrupted you, “I hate to say it, Y/N but Chris is right. You need to give yourself some grace here.”
“I just want everything to be perfect for her.” you whimper.
“Oh honey, I know.” Lisa said, “And that’s what makes you such a wonderful mother and wife, you are so selfless when it comes to Gracie and Chris.”
Chris nodded in agreement.
“But you need to reign that in a little bit and also give yourself some care.” Lisa continued, “You deserve to relax and enjoy the holiday, just like the rest of us.”
You sighed and wiped your tears, “But the presents.”
“I will take care of the presents.” Your mother in law insisted, “I’ve been doing the Christmas Eve mom thing much longer than you.”
“She’s practically a professional.” Chris chuckled.
“Are you sure?” You asked, “What about cleaning up from dinner?”
“Shanna and I already did it.” Your husband said.
Lisa reached out her hand to help you up, “Get up and go splash some water on your face.”
You took her hand and let her pull you to your feet and lunged yourself straight into her arms for a hug, “Thank you, Lisa.”
“Go enjoy your little family and make sure my son doesn’t eat too many cookies.” She gave Chris a classic mom glare.
You giggled, “I don’t know if I can do that. The man can’t be tamed around Christmas treats.”
God bless Lisa, she finished all the wrapping in a fraction of the time it would have taken you to do it. When 8PM rolled around, Chris kicked his entire family out because it was past Gracie’s bed time and she was starting to get overwhelmed and fussy. The two of you gave her a quick bath, changed her into her brand new Christmas jammies from Uncle Scott, and you sat in the rocker nursing her to sleep as Chris read The Night Before Christmas.
“He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—
‘Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!’” When Chris finished the last part, he quietly closed the beautifully illustrated book given to you all by Lisa earlier that night.
You smiled at your husband before carefully unlatching Gracie from your chest.
“God, what a dream.” Chris whispered.
“Hm?” you questioned as you slowly placed your sleeping daughter in her crib.
Chris smirked, “To fall asleep with your tits in my mouth.”
You choked down your laughter, as to not wake up the baby, “Can you not say nasty things in front of our infant?”
“It’s how she got here.” He shrugged and gave your butt a loving swat, “Pretty sure she was conceived around this time last year”
You rolled your eyes bent down to gently kiss your baby’s head, “Merry Christmas, Angel.”
Chris followed suit and the two of you tiptoed out of the nursery.
“Can you go grab the wine?” You asked with a sweet smile, “Mama needs a movie night.”
“Die Hard?” Chris suggested.
You rolled your eyes, “It wasn’t a christmas movie last year and it’s not one this year.”
“That is woefully inaccurate but since it’s your turn to pick, we can watch something else.” He pulled you close to him and kissed your head.
“Love Actually?” you suggested hopefully.
He paused for a moment, “Anything for you. Especially since you put up with my family tonight.”
“You know I love them! And anyways, you have to deal with my family all day tomorrow.” You kissed him sweetly.
He pulled you in and kissed you again passionately, “How about making another baby while we’re at it?”
You scrunched up your face, “I want to enjoy the perfect one we already have… but we can practice since I’m on the pill.”
Chris’s eyebrows raised, “Well we already perfected baby making with Gracie, so practicing is only the right thing to do so we can keep our record the next time around.”
“The next couple times around.” You corrected him.
He purred, “Oh you know I love the sound of that.”
Enchanted to Meet You (Chris Evans fic)
This is based on a request by @kelsthoughtbubble
can you do a Chris fic inspired by Enchanted by Taylor Swift? And like he just wants to know more about her since she's a normal (non-famous) person and because she leaves wherever they are early.. almost like a Cinderella vibe ya know? And eventually a happy ending. I do love a happy ending// lots of fluff
I had a super fun time listening to Enchanted and writing this fic!
Summery: Based on the song Enchanted by Taylor Swift, Chris and the reader meet and have an instant connection. Unfortunately, that night ends too soon… but not really ;)
Word Count: 1974
Warnings: like 2 swear words. Lots and lots of fluff
You tightly gripped your best friend’s forearm as the two of you walked through the threshold of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Your jaw dropped when you saw how your favorite spot in the city was transformed into the venue for such an elaborate gala.
“Ow, Y/N!” Ezra, your best friend scolded, “Are you trying to squeeze my arm off?!”
You quickly released him, “Sorry! I’m just so nervous. I feel like I don’t belong here!”
Errands chuckled, “You? You’re the best dressed bitch here. Your look, it’s…”
“It’s giving Cher!” you finished his sentence with a Shawn Mendes quote.
“I was gonna say Lupita Nyong’o at the 2014 Oscars,” he corrected you, “but I’ll let it slide because you quoted my husband Shawny.”
“Babe, he can’t marry you when he hasn’t even come out of the closet yet.” you rolled your eyes.
“A gay can dream, okay?”
Ezra had abandoned you to canoodle with some higher profile people that you were too afraid to engage with, despite his protests. You stood to the side, carefully sipping your drink and enjoying the live music.
“Is this the cool kids corner?” a manly boston accent asked.
You fiddled with the straw in your drink, not even looking up, “It’s the social anxiety corner.”
The man let out a sigh of relief, “Great, I’ll fit right in.”
You couldn’t help but giggle nervously as you looked up at the beautiful man next to you, “Is this not your scene either?”
“It has to be, unfortunately, with the nature of my job.” he sighed, “but it’s not a preference.”
“I’m a pediatric nurse for my day job, so all I need are comfortable shoes and lots of lollipops. This is very out of my league.” you shook your head.
The man’s face lit up, “At Boston Children’s?”
You nodded, shyly tucking a piece of hair behind your ear, “In the oncology unit, I started last year.”
“I work with a non-profit that helps childhood cancer patients and their families. We have an apartment complex right across from Mass. Gen for them to stay in while the kids are getting their treatments, we hope to expand near Boston Children’s as well. When I get to see the kids, they all say their favorite people at the hospital are their nurses.” He explained and smiled sheepishly.
“Christopher’s Haven right?” you asked, “I’ve heard of it.”
He nodded, “I’ve had the privilege to visit children in hospitals too. I’ll come dressed as Captain America and seeing their little faces light up is always the best. They definitely prefer him over just me.”
Realization washed over you, “Chris Evans! I can’t believe I didn’t recognize Captain America.”
“Ugh, I shouldn’t have said anything!” He playfully groaned, “If I knew a pretty woman was actually talking to me despite being the normal loser I am, I would’ve never told you my secret identity.”
You blushed at his small compliment, “I promise, I won’t make you do any of your lines.”
“I appreciate that. Did you come with anyone?” He asked.
You gestured over to Erza in the middle of the party holding court with all of his admirers, “I’m with him. I’m his beard for the night.”
Chris let out a cackle, “Well you’re not doing a very good job, I could tell he’s gay from a mile away.”
You snorted, “I’m a nurse, not a miracle worker. I can’t do it all. What about you? Do you have a stunning model girlfriend who’s ready to strike me at any moment?”
“Promise you won’t laugh at me?” He asked with a weak smile.
You held out your pinky, “Pinky swear.”
When he interlocked his pinky with yours, it was as if an electric current shot straight through your. By his hesitation to let go, you had a feeling he felt it too.
“Pinky swear.” He held your pinky until you were the first to let go and then admitted, “I brought my mom and my sister.”
“That’s so nice!” you cooed.
His cheeks flushed red, “Is that your really kind way of calling me lame?”
You shook your head, “Never.”
“Shit, Y/N!” Ezra interrupted the two of you with panic in his eyes, “A glass broke in my hand and it won’t stop bleeding!”
“Hold this?” you handed Chris your clutch and took Erza’s hand, “Oh god, you have a whole shard in there.”
“Pull it out!” Ezra cried out.
“I can’t do it here, I need to wash my hands and get better lighting.” you explained, “We’ve gotta go to the bathroom, I’ll be right back Chris.”
After further examination of Erza’s hand, he needed quite a few stitches. So you carefully took out the large shard of glass, wrapped his hand up in paper towels and applied pressure, and headed to the ER. Meanwhile, Chris was still waiting for you with your clutch. After 20 minutes came and went, he went looking for you but you were nowhere to be found. He didn’t even know your name, for god’s sake! Maybe you kept your phone on you and he could find your number and give you a call?
He groaned when he opened the small bag to see that your phone, wallet, and keys were all inside. Being the inquisitive guy he was, he snuck a peak at your drivers license. Y/N Y/L/N. Beautiful.
“Can’t you just do the stitches?” Ezra whined in the waiting room of the Massachusetts General Hospital Emergency Department. “You’re a nurse!”
You rolled your eyes, “Sure, Ezra, because I always carry around a spare suture kit with me in my purse.” The realization that your hands were empty dawned on you, “Where is my purse?”
Ezra looked around, “Shit! You don’t have it?!”
“No…” you thought for a moment and retraced your steps in your head, “Chris has it! I gave it to him when I was checking out your hand before we ran off to the bathroom.”
“Big oof.” He groaned, “You didn’t even get his phone number so you can’t call him.”
You thought for a moment, “Yes but… he does have my phone… Give me yours so I can call it, hopefully he answers!”
“This is so romantic!” Ezra gushed, handing you his phone with his good hand, “It’s like a modern Cinderella! Down to the baby blue dress!”
You rolled your eyes and dialed your number, “Now, now, no need to get dramatic.”
Chris felt your phone vibrate in your clutch, when he took it out, Ezra’s name flashed across the screen.
“Chris!” Carly scolded, “You can’t just answer a random girl’s phone.”
Chris shushed her, “I think it’s her friend's number that she was with, it might be her.”
“This is so romantic!” Lisa, his mother gushed.
“Ma, shhh.” Chris scolded before politely answering, “Hello?”
“Oh my god,” your sweet voice rang through the other end of the phone, “please tell me this is Chris.”
He chuckled, “Yes, this is Chris.”
You let out a sigh of relief, “Thank you so much for holding on to my purse. I’m sorry we bailed, Ezra ended up needing stitches. We’re just about to get called back to the ER at Mass. Gen.”
“You’re telling me you couldn’t stitch him up right there in the bathroom?” He teased.
You groaned, “Ezra literally said the same exact thing! Unfortunately, it’s not standard practice for nurses to carry suture kits with them everywhere they go.”
He chuckled, “What a shame, you could’ve been a hero.”
You giggled, “Right? Now some quack ER doc gets to take all the credit instead.”
“How about this,” he proposed, “I’ll come over to Mass Gen and drop off your stuff to you.”
“Oooooooor,” Ezra’s voice interrupted, “After I drop this beautiful maiden off at her apartment you can come over and she can give you a proper—“
You cut him off with a gasp, “Ezra, no!”
Chris burst out laughing, “Let’s do that. Have Ezra text me when you guys are at your place and I can just drop them off.”
He could hear you start to protest but then Ezra interrupted him, “Sounds great! Byyyyyyyyyyyeeeee!”
There was a knock on the door at your tiny apartment, since it was pretty late, you double checked through the peephole to make sure it was Chris before opening.
“Hi, thank you so much.” You said as you opened the door, still in your dress.
“Of course, you're actually not far from me so it was a quick drive.” he handed you your clutch.
Should you invite him in? What if he had a girlfriend? But maybe he didn’t… aaah, what the hell?
“You wanna come in?” you asked sheepishly.
He nodded, “Yes, I’d love to.”
You stepped aside and let him through the doorway, “It’s kinda small, it’s just me so I don’t need much more than this.” you nervously smoothed out your dress.
Chris looked around, “I think it’s great.”
You turned around and gestured towards the zipper of your dress, “Would you mind?”
“Not at all.” He gently unzipped you a modest amount so you weren’t exposed.
“I’ll be right back, please make yourself comfortable. There’s drinks in the fridge.” you said before shuffling to your bedroom and quickly changing.
“Do you want beer, wine, or seltzer?” he called to you from the kitchen.
“Seltzer, please!” you called back and pulled a large Boston Red Sox shirt over your head and your pajama shorts around your waist.
Chris handed you a White Claw when you shuffled back into the kitchen, “We’re matching!” he pointed to his Red Sox tshirt paired with gray sweatpants.
“Look at us!” You smiled, sipping your drink.
Playful conversation flowed well into the night and many drinks.. The two of you migrated over to your couch, where he sat with his feet on the coffee table and you laid across with your head in his lap. You had discussed everything, work, family, friends, likes, and dislikes… everything except the obvious, the crazy spark you two shared.
“So do you always leave your clutch with random guys at non-profit galas?” He asked casually playing with your hair.
“Nope, do you always personally deliver lost items to strange women and stay for drinks?” you fired back.
He chuckled, “Nope.”
“Do you have a girlfriend?” you blurted out.
“No, I’d be a pretty big piece of shit if I was doing this with you and having a girlfriend.” He playfully poked at your belly.
You squeaked and covered your midsection with your arms, “Hey!”
“Hay is for horses!” he found an exposed section of your side and poked at it again over and over until you let out a giggle.
“IT TICKLES!” You’d definitely be better at hiding your ticklishness if you were sober.
Chris smiled down at you and stopped his poking attack, “I sure hope so, seeing you smile and laugh was kind of what I was hoping for.”
“So are ya gonna kiss me or just tickle me?” you asked playfully, sitting up and facing him.
He cocked his head to the side, as if to show he was thinking but then promptly leaned in to kiss you.
You leaned in and pressed your lips against his, it was like fireworks had been set off in the middle of the room until the two of you eventually pulled away.
“Is now a bad time to confirm that you don’t have a boyfriend?” He asked.
“How much of an asshole would I be if I said yes?” you raised a questioning eyebrow.
Chris’s face went pale making you burst into giggles.
“I’m kidding! I’m kidding!” you cried, “I swear I’m single!”
“Oh you little!” he growled playfully, pulling you into his lap and tickling the crap out of you.

Loving in Silence (Chris Evans fic)
Summery: your best friend Chris crashes your date before it even begins
Word Count: 1358
Warnings: alludes to sexual situations, a few F bombs, SO MUCH FLUFF
“Hello?” You put your phone on speaker and continued to fix your makeup in the bathroom mirror.
“GUESS WHO’S BACK IN MASS?!” Chris’s voice blared through the phone, “I’LL BE OVER IN TEN MINUTES!
Your heart dropped, you had a date coming over in an hour, “Chris, you can’t—“
The line went dead. That butthead hung up on you.
You groaned and finished up the last touches on your makeup and hair, who did he think he was? He can’t just drop back in and interrupt your life whenever he pleases… not when you love him so much and are trying to figure out how to move on.
You’ve loved him since you first laid eyes on him in his favorite crappy dive bar in Southie. With his natural brown hair and beard, you didn’t figure out that he was Captain America right away. When you did, you just laughed and moved right on with the conversation, never giving it too much thought. He taught you how to play darts and you made him take tequila shots despite his objections of being “too old”. Though his objections contained some truth, he was completely obliterated by the time last call came around, so you put him in an Uber home on your own dime. As a thank you, he took you out to “breakfast” the next afternoon and the two of you were inseparable ever since.
Your intercom buzzed, taking you out of your trance and back to reality.
You pressed the talk button, “Chris, I’m expecting company.”
“Buzz me in or I’ll make Ray do it.” He threatened, referring to your doorman who he’s befriended after bringing your drunk ass back to your apartment so many nights before.
You groaned and buzzed him in. The man was impossible!
You opened your front door to find Chris, waiting for you with a bouquet of flowers, “Missed you.” He smirked.
You gestured for him to enter, “you aren’t supposed to be home for another couple days.”
“Yeah, well, we wrapped early and I missed my best friend.” He walked by you and into your kitchen, looking for a vase for the flowers, “Hello to you too, by the way.”
“Chris, I have someone coming over in like a half hour…” you played with your fingers.
His eyes darted around your apartment and you watched the realization wash over him. You were dressed up, your hair and makeup was done, candles were lit, and soft music was playing.
“You’re having a man over!” Chris gasped.
You nodded.
“Well you don’t seem very excited about it.” He said.
You shrugged, “he’s nice enough.”
“Oof,” Chris chuckled, “that’s damning. Cancel on him since you’re not into it.”
“I wish I could,” you sighed, “but I’m trying to expand my horizons and get over someone.”
His eyebrows raised, “Get over someone?! Y/N, I haven’t been gone that long. Who are you trying to get over?”
You covered your face with both hands and groaned, you’ve said too much. You can’t look him in the eyes because he always knows when you’re lying.
“Ooooh, she’s blushing!” Chris teased, “C’mon! Tell me who it is!”
“It’s none of your business!” You mumbled, keeping your face covered so you don’t have to look at him as he creeped closer and closer.
“Tell me.” He insisted.
You shook your head, “This is a private matter.”
“Tell me,” he poked your sides repeatedly, “I gotta know so I can kick this guys ass for hurting my best friend!”
“CHRIS!” You barked at him, trying to dodge his fingers and finally revealing your face so you can push him away.
“Y/N!” He shot back, “It’s like you want me to tickle it out of you.”
“I can assure you that I don’t!” You audibly growled
Chris grabbed your small wrists with one of his large hands, pulling your body into his, and dancing his fingers up your sides.
You squeaked trying to fight your laughter, “CHRISTOPHER!”
“Y/N… you know you wanna laugh!” He sang as he lightly scratched up your shirt along your bare tummy.
You couldn’t take it any longer, the laughter came bubbling out.
“Tell me and this all ends!” He yelled over your laughter.
“FINE!” You managed to muster between shrieks.
The tickling instantly stopped, but Chris kept a strong hold on you.
You struggled to catch your breath, “Can you… let me… go?”
“So you can run away without telling me?” He asked with a chuckle, “absolutely the fuck not.”
You hung your head, tears stung in the corner of your eyes and you couldn’t help but sniffle as you tried to hold them back.
Chris’s grip on you instantly softened, “Y/N… what’s wrong?”
You shook your head and the tears started to fall, ruining your perfect eye makeup, “don’t make me… it’ll ruin everything.”
He gently turned your body so that you were facing him, “Y/N… please don’t cry… whatever it is would never ruin what we have… I love you.”
You began to cry harder, “That’s just it, Chris! I love you… I love you so fucking much! And no man will ever live up to you and so I’m just stuck here… loving you in silence!”
Chris froze, it was as if he couldn’t process the words coming from your mouth.
You couldn’t look at him anymore, you just looked away and continued to cry until two strong hands grabbed your cheeks, forcing you to look into his baby blues.
“You don’t have to love me in silence,” his thumbs gently wiped your tears, “because I love you and I’ll fucking scream it.”
You tried to hang your head and look away from him but he wouldn’t let you, “You’re just saying that to make me feel better.”
He kissed your forehead and deeply inhaled your scent, “Never. You know I’d never say it if I didn’t mean it.”
“I love you.” You mumbled.
Chris eagerly pressed his lips against yours, what he had been hungering to do since the night you two met. When he pulled away, he took in your beauty, red eyes, mascara everywhere, and stuffy nose; you were so beautiful. “I love you more. No more loving in silence.”
A smile crept onto your face and you wiped away the tears, “I guess I should text Aaron and cancel.”
You turned to pick up your phone but Chris still kept you in his arms as you typed out your apology to Aaron and made it clear that you were looking for something else.
“Fuck Aaron.” Chris mumbled into your neck.
You giggled, “He’s a nice enough guy.”
“Is that why you’re wearing your Fuck Me perfume?” He asked , “Just for a guy who’s nice enough?”
You huffed, “A girl’s got needs!”
He suddenly started kissing your neck, causing you to shudder a little, “Well we can’t leave those needs unmet and let the perfume go to waste.”
You woke up the next morning with Chris’s strong arm wrapped around your waist. The man was a sex god until it was time to go to sleep, then he went full cuddle bug. You slowly wiggled out of his grasp and limped your way to the bathroom, as stated before, the man is a total sex god and your body was feeling it.
Chris whined as you walked away, “Come backkkk!”
“I’ll just be a second, I gotta pee! You scoffed and continued about your business.
He continued to mumble and grumble until you came back and enveloped yourself back into his arms.
“Do you still like me?” You asked quietly.
“Excuse me, what?” Chris sat up and looked at you, “Of course I still like you, I love you!”
You still couldn’t believe it, “For real?”
He rolled his eyes and squeezed your hip, causing you to jump and squeal.
“So is that a yes?” You asked.
Chris rolled over on top of you and rolled his eyes, “OF COURSE IT'S A YES, YA STINKER!”
Before you could react, he was aggressively kissing and nibbling on your neck making you fold into giggles under him.
