If I am
What survives ย I am here but I am not
Much of anything at all ย To be whatโs left
And all the rest scooped out
And dropped into the sea

itโs a tease, sheโs a tease. to brush her lips so close to his that theyโre barely touching, the mere impression of her lips on the air above him, and to expect him not to dive right in. that would be a wonder, wouldnโt it? thereโs something satisfying about it, watching any semblance of control he might have had crumbling as he stares deep into her eyes with the hunger of an entire army waiting to be fed. and she knows she could feed him easily, it would be easy to simply take the knife away and kiss him, but she doesnโt. she waits- gaze flickering to his neck as blood beads from beneath the blade. his yielding and his surging forwards happen almost in the same breath, she barely has time to move the knife before his lips are on hers, hungry. but she does. she makes sure itโs not in danger of being crushed between them, instead placed under her hand against the wood of the deck.ย โ thatโs my boy, โ she purrs against his lips, teeth biting down on his lower one, another tease.ย โ whatโs my name? โ itโs easy as breathing. she wants to hear it, wants to hear him say it.ย
the hunger was insatiable. deep and as treacherous as the sea. he wanted to swallow her whole, hold her behind his ribs, in the hollow of his chest, devoured. the need was always there, just below the surface like a current but now it raged with a sudden intensity that he barely felt like a person at all. only a vessel for how much he wanted her. her eyes on him, her lips on him, the call of her voice around the utterance of any word so long as it was spoken to him. harry kissed her with that hunger. his tongue sweeping against hers moments before she pulled back just enough to speak and harry bared his teeth in a sigh when she bit down against his lower lip.
something in his chest threatened to tremble in response to her purr. his hands dragged up her thighs to find purchase over her hips. โ uma. โ her name dripped from his lips. red, intense, disturbed. harry always said her name like it meant more than just her name, and he would say it every way she would ever want it said. he kissed her again. tongue pushing past her lips to taste her.
