Even if I explain the situation, it will be awkward.  My roommate is Angelique.  She's pretty nice, but we don't talk really.

Okay, fair enough. I mean, first you wouldn’t be leaving her alone because her mother or father had to be there. I can’t imagine she was old enough to be on her own. And if you were in like a in depth conversation, I’m sure the girl would had understood if you said in a few minutes. Plus, wouldn’t her parents have thought you were some type of weirdo playing with a little child? I don’t know, but at least the very hot boy came over to the swings with you.

Um, yea... You don't leave little girls Jules.  She chose me to play with her and I'm not going to be a bitch and say no.  She's just a child and that would be super rude.  Besides, he came to help me out of the swing.
