It's International Zine month! Went in a bit of a fugue state and made this all by hand! Nothing digital! Considering I mainly create art using digital software (and my previous zines have been digitally created too) it was fun going back to my roots of simply cutting and sticking stuff. Less analysis paralysis and more improv, I've found.

Also a very good way of getting rid of the scraps in your house! (So if you're a hoarder, you should def make a zine).

Finally watched The Devil Wears Prada 2 a few weeks ago! If you've missed it, the write-up is on my Substack!

More homework from Drawabox - here's a sketch of a cat (reference from a photo I took of a cat in Tai O). So far cats are pretty fun to draw, but let's see how I do with other animals... 👀

Moving onto four legged animals now - here's the completed wolf demo from drawabox! It was super difficult to get the muscles and anatomy in proportion. Don't know if I did it right, but I'm glad I attempted the challenge!

So here's another pigeon again! Picture taken from my walk. There are way too many where I live - and they're no longer scared of people. Their feathers make them look really pudgy and round!

Still slowly doing Drawabox - drew this pelican following the demo. At least I'm finally on lesson 5! Unfortunately work is kinda kicking my butt now, so it's been slow... but yes, drawing animals is a whole 'nother' ball game (goodbye, confidence)!

Still can't believe I've completed the 100 day project - here's a quick sneak peek of all the collages I created! (Yes, it's a lot of files) Thinking about making a zine from it... what do you guys think?

Taking a quick look back on my journey completing the 100 Day Project - man my folder is pretty full right now 😅 I swear I can feel my poor laptop fan whirring…

(All jokes aside, I do highly recommend you at least try the challenge once!)

Finally the end of The 100 Day Project! It's great seeing how far we've come - here are the last 4 collages! For anyone who wants to get a body of work but doesn't have the motivation - I highly suggest trying this out!

Can't believe we're on day 90 - only 10 more to go! I'm really proud I made it this far, right now it's just the final sprint! Here's a sneak peek of days 87-90.

When this project is over, I'm thinking of turning it into a zine/art book. I'm also thinking of including my thoughts when making these collages - an interest guys?

Finally getting back into drawing again! Had to draw Lacie - one of my favourite characters from Pandora Hearts! (Pls read the manga guys the art and story is great :))

Learning how to draw shrimps. How do people keep track of all their legs??? (There's so many)

That said, they do look kinda cute haha
