He watched her flip the beast onto its back, wondering just what creature he was staring at. He did admire her, though, for getting the creature down so easily. “No, it’s not food. Why would it be?”

Regarding the stranger, she laughed. “Not him, I  meant you. He was gonna snap you up ––                                                  weren’t you, Thud?”

So far the head and feet ratio isn’t really working out in her favor ––  but she’s small compared to most of the animals. What’s most striking about this creature is the way it blends into the night. Even waving  around her torch only shows her the occasional eye or patch of flesh where there fur’s stopped growing.

All she knows to do now is throw back her head and roar.

it is so important to me that there is never a scene in the croods where eep is like “uh oh i have to pretend i’m not that strong or else guy won’t like me”. in general she never fems herself up -- because she already likes flowers and pretty things alongside being a buff pint sized badass. A well rounded female character, whodda thunk it?

The main character is voiced by Emma Stone

She’s shown as equally tough and badass as her father

And it isn’t joked about it’s just fact

Its main message is thAT CHANGE IS GOOD AND “WE’VE ALWAYS DONE IT THIS WAY” ISN’T A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO KEEP DOING THINGS THAT WAY AND EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE AND OH GOD

rewatching the croods for the umpteenth time and right after guy gives eep her boots and she’s clinging to him and grug’s all “woah, woah, WOAH.” guy is just really cute?  “woah, okay! she’s up, i’m up. we’re good, we’re good.” that really cute girl was not just all over me -- HEY GRUG!
