another harvest from the cat tree
It was sad to say goodbye, but I had to give Dusya to good people. I hope she’s happy.
Dusya got sick. There was blood on her nostrils and around her mouth. She had incontinence. I took her to the clinic. They ran tests and said it was panleukopenia. I bought the medicine. Treated her for a week. Fed her with a dropper and gave her water the same way. Two weeks later we were already going for walks again.

Cat Tree. It bears fruit in January
Dusya was an ordinary kitten born on the street to a stray cat, Musya, and a ginger tom, Archie. Musya once had a home but was thrown out for unknown reasons. Tough and stoic, she kept local cats and dogs in line. Her fierce look and harsh temper helped her survive. Dusya was lucky: Musya knew street rules well. Life on the ground was dangerous, so she carried her kittens onto the substation roof, where they were safe.
Glasha finally has a surviving kitten — something that never happened before. He looks just like his ginger father, Archie. Right now Glasha and her little one are living in the basement. I’ll write more about their story later.
This is little Belka. We met in May 2024, when she was still tiny. We bonded right away. Belka loved being petted — she would instantly flop onto the ground and show her belly. She’s Musya’s daughter.
Even evil dolls love cats.
