I just want to take a moment to give a sincere salute to Mike Fiers for having the courage to speak up about all the scheming and sketchiness and cheating going on, and it went far deeper than I, and probably anyone else, knew about it, and his willingness to call out what was wrong shined a light on a deep-rooted problem and it turned the baseball world on its head. A salute to you, my dude. I don’t care what anyone in the industry says. This was needed and so incredibly important.
