So it’s been a really good run but I think it’s time for this blog and Elizabeth to finally go into retirement. I love her still and with how long she’s stuck around and how much I’ve grown since I started writing her, it’s going to be… bittersweet letting her go. Also the friends I’ve made here too. Love you guys as well.  

I’ll be moving myself completely to a personal blog and archiving this one. Probably follow a few rp blogs from there just bc I can’t bear the thought of depriving myself of good writing even if I’m not doing the writing myself. But yeah…

Of all the demands she’d expected the conman to make of her, these were the furthest from her mind. It did not fit her image of what she knew of John Constantine; definitely not a ladder-climber like the serpents she called compatriots. Neither was he a man with morals, pride or covetousness enough to shy away from practicalities of casual, throwaway sex. And yet here he was, speaking of shame as if he wasn’t simply another shady contact who’d been ushered into her office through the back door.

It was as fascinating as it was exasperating.

The file in her hands closed with a snap as she stood to her feet. Elizabeth reached for her coat, shrugged it on as she walked to the door and threw it open. When she turned back to him, it was with a knife-sharp leer and an outstretched arm – an offer and a challenge for him to hook his own around it.

Thanks for being so patient with me and all my extensive and unannounced disappearances. It's been a hectic few years and writing has been the last thing on my mind at times.

But it's finally paid off. Finished my last exam of my degree today!!! No more stress and cramming and 5am revision sessions. This is what joy feels like :'D

Getting back into writing. And hopefully now things are done, I'll stay into writing this time.
