I drew this a while ago when my daughter started transitioning into being a toddler. No one ever tells you that part of being a parent is the grief of losing each version of them as they grow through each stage. It's a bittersweet and complex feeling.

Some recent ballpoint pen sketches of Derpy from K-Pop Demon Hunters. I haven't been this obsessed with an animated movie since Big Hero 6 back in 2014.

My husband and I designed these little space-faring bunnies for our daughter's nursery back in 2023. The space bunny design is hard to explain (we wanted something gender neutral, we both agreed on space as a theme, and we added bunnies because that was her zodiac animal). These are the designs before I pulled them into Illustrator, cleaned them up, and had them made into stencils for us to paint on the wall.

Hey, it's been like, 5 years since I posted here? You know that big stack of sketchbooks I took a photo of like 6 or 7 years ago and posted on here? I've been scanning and posting the sketches on Bluesky under the sketchbooks tag, so come on over if you like!

I would like to do something special for Tigrin's 25th birthday this year (I notice my last post on here was his 20th) but I have very little free time anymore unfortunately. I got married in 2021 and had my daughter back in early 2023 so I have been super busy with that parenting life.

I stopped drawing back around 2020. It's a long story but I got so hung up on the social media aspect of art and trying to make good drawings that I'd end up paralyzed in fear before even starting a drawing. I was miserable, so I gave up. Lately I have been trying to get back into it a little as I've been coming out of the newborn fog but it's still tough I'm not going to lie.

Anyway, I hope everyone still on Tumblr is doing well and taking care of themselves. 💕 When I get a moment to find some files I will post some art here from the last few years. There's a little bit of it.

Finally got permission to post this, here’s an animation I did early last year for a project at @clydesballapaloozaextravaganza that sadly never was finished. OP I just wanna say I love your use of the elements in this? It’s such a good animation. I’m teaching my brother animation atm and this was a fantastic example of how some small anticipation can make such a big difference. Your effort in this is spotless and I just wanted to say so quickly
