Simple teasing aside, my name is Eveline Lalonde, and I request you respect my pronouns, fae/faer. I normally avoid being so direct with my pronouns, but after a while of being misgendered despite your efforts to prevent such a thing from happening, you tend to become paranoid after a while.

You’re welcome. I am not one to discriminate against people just because they have a certain religion, unless of course they do something offensive, if that made any sense. I do not see how wiccan can relate to the devil, I assume it’s because the symbol you use and the relate those two together?

Oh, please do! Because each particular witch’s path varies, you’ll find many diverse forms of praise and deities to worship. It’s very comforting at times to research different Gods and Goddesses to learn their stories. It reminds you that even though they rank higher than mere mortals, they all have very relatable qualities. 

And, yes, the pentagram is not only a Wiccan symbol but is also associated with the Devil. Although my memory is a bit cloudy, I have no doubt that the association occurred sometime when any religion not of Christian origins were deemed unholy in God’s light.

My name is Eveline Lalonde, although I’m fond of the name Tigress as well. I use the uncommon set of pronouns fae/faer to reflect my wiccan path, although my pronouns tend to slip the minds of those who talk about me in the media.

Wicca is a grand path. The flexibility and acceptance in the community is very enjoyable and make me proud to be a part of this joyous religion. I would elaborate more, but I wish not to write yet another book on a singular Tumblr post.

More importantly, however, I appreciate your openness to my pronouns. It’s very heartwarming to see one take my religion seriously, seeing as though most refer to me as a “devil-filled, nature-obsessed lunatic.” Although I’m sure I dug that grave myself, seeing as though I do write fantasy novels involving “fanon” magic, if you will.
