My Finland design!! Figured I might as well start posting here already since it’s winter break rn and I ain’t got anything better to do. Here’s some info on him since I have his character already pretty well figured out:
In terms of personality, he is, as you would expect, quite reserved. He tends to keep to himself quite a bit and rarely gets into business that’s not his own. He’s quite tired and often may seem rude or indifferent, but in reality he’s just quite awkward and doesn’t really know how to deal with people well.
His social norms are also quite different compared to many other countries, hence why others may think he is a bit hard to socialize with.
Finland eases up the most when under the influence of alcohol.
He loves nature and spending time in it. It holds a lot of importance to him.
His favourite animals are brown bears (Finland’s national animal), whooper swans, and Saimaa ringed seals.
He loves metal music, obviously. He does also like other genres though, most notably schlager pop, rap and rock.
His siblings are the other Nordics, and his mother is the Kalmar Union. Åland is like his spoiled son-but-not-really that Finland tries to treat well but would obviously want to be a part of Sweden more.
He has a neverending rivalry with Sweden, and only ever wishes to beat him when against each other in any competition.
His friends include Estonia, Japan, Germany, Canada, Hungary (kind of), and the US. He has a strained relationship with Russia.
His birthday is December 6th.
He has a strangely morbid sense of humor that only he and maybe the other nordics seem to understand. Britain also seems to get it for whatever reason.
His favourite hobbies are hunting, skiing, ice hockey and pesäpallo. He also loves the sauna (naturally).
His left arm is heavily scarred.
He really seems to like Donald Duck for whatever reason. Apparently he seems to find him relatable.
He really likes most dairy products, even though he has lactose intolerance.
sure man, and this time Norway joins them as he didn't quit after 5 games (like what happened with Valorant) in fact they're having a cutesy FNAF sleepover
Finland hasn't been this locked in since 1940 (ignore what Sweden and Denmark are up to in the background)
Idk why but finland has always been my favorite in any country fandom and now my dad gets to go to finland basically for free?! It all came full circle.

yeah man, sure here's Nordic countries playing Valorant and crashing out while only one of them is locked in (don't mind Iceland he's going through it)

hey, look on the bright side, at least it's acknowledged (for better or for worse) unlike other Nordics, ask a Countryhumans fan where Sweden is, they'll panic and point at Norway
