I know you're not Ukrainian or Belorussian, but you come from a post Soviet state and I have been wondering this for a long time.
Recently I have been very uncomfortable of seeing Countryhumans art where the Soviet republics are portrayed as a happy cute wholesome family where Russia is the big brother to Ukraine and Belarus, when historically (and even to this day) the idea of those countries being "Brotherly nations" is propaganda used to justify Russian imperialism and aggression towards them. Am I over reacting? I haven't seen anyone bring this up so Idk

i also feel uncomfortable seeing how the republics of the ussr are portrayed as a kind and sweet family. its unlikely that kazakhs can be considered a brotherly people, cuz haha they are closer to the kyrgyz, uzbeks and other turkic nations
i have nothing against russia, ukraine, and belarus as brothers, but please don't include kazakhstan in this. i think he is... a very sad former stepbrother
its a shame history didn't take the path that led to the alash horde winning independence in 1917. although, perhaps i wouldn't have existed, since my father is a slav-some sort of complicated mix of slavic nations, but he's russian, belarussian, and polish.
