Brain freeze?

Frozen melon mixed with ginger and lemon. The taste is nice and refreshing but you easily get a brain freeze from it. Improvement would be to strain it before drinking, if not into the brain freeze thingy.

"Farming" goals...

Always good to put up goals.  

Goal #1 I am trying to not buy any leafy greens any more... And how does is it going.. For a long time I was not buying any, but wasn't eating as much as I would have liked..

This was until we had the "luck" of getting a lot of weed on our allotment due to laziness or was it maybe an intuitive act?? I am going with #2... Anyhow this turned out to be a eatable kind. A kind which is a leafy green and tastes, according to moi (wishful thinking?), better than spinach. 

Let me present: svinmålla. (the swedish name, too lazy to try to find the english one)

Goal #1 completed! Kind of... At least for some time.

Saving a Swedese chair

There is a chair made by Yngve Ekström which is common here in Sweden. I got one which was in a bad shape to see if I can make any improvement on it (or to play with really). I have the idea to make a rag straight to it. So far I came to the point were I have to start over.. 

But I can see that it does do have potential. I hope...

3 INGREDIENT CHOCOLATE PUDDING (RECIPE)

Simple silky smooth deliciousness! vegan and gluten-free too!

You need:

half an avocado

1 banana

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder

1. Blitz those 3 ingredient together until smooth

2. serve and enjoy :)! 

(note: you could add some honey/maple syrup if you’d like it a little sweeter or use more cocoa if you like your pudding richer!)

Growing food, or trying to.

You know when you spontaneously take on the task to have an allotment. When you already have one... Well that sort of just happened, it seemed like such a nice movement. And after digging a lot and planting corn, beans and pumpkins you sleep well...

We grow corn... And weed, a lot of weed...

Here is the new member, or should I say members, of our family. Let me present SCOBY. This is a kombucha making SCOBY, fed with raisins, lemon juice and yerba-mate tea... Looks yummy, right... The raisins might have been a very bad choice, but to my defense there wasn't any grapejuice in the store.

Dutch designers Waarmakers have created sustainable rubbish sacks for discarding unwanted items in good condition, in the hope that they’ll be picked up by a new owner instead of ending up at a landfill site.

Once full, the bags with transparent panels are left in the street along with normal refuse so passers-by can pick them up and make use of their contents. The items are kept clean and dry but still visible, and if they remain in place when the refuse collection truck passes then they will be taken away with the rest of the rubbish.
