Guys, my father is sick and fighting his illness inside a tent in the rain.
He urgently needs medical care and proper treatment. He needs adequate nutrition, warmth, and stability.
But we are living in a tent under heavy storms in Gaza.

like...deltarune is a parallel universe to undertale. and vice versa. all the same people that exist in one exist in the other, even if they aren't seen up front in both.
asriel's sibling in undertale is chara, or whoever we call chara, we never actually had their name confirmed since it's them that you name in game. asriel's sibling in deltarune is kris. kris and chara share the same outfit, hair color, eye color, even the same general interests in knives and sweets.
would it not be a logical conclusion that chara is kris' undertale counterpart, just like everyone else's counterpart, and that chara's name would be confirmed to be kris?

I reached out to Wesal today because I hadn't heard from her in a couple of days, which doesn't happen often, and she brought me this alarming news. Farah is back in the hospital:
"Farah had to undergo an urgent procedure and remains in the hospital. Her condition deteriorated—her potassium levels dropped to 2.2—forcing us to keep her in the hospital to receive intravenous potassium."
These are extremely low levels of potassium, putting Farah at risk of cardiac arrest. Intravenous supplementation of potassium must be done slowly - going too fast also endangers one's heart. This means Farah has to stay at the hospital, which, for a child like her, is very distressing. It is distressing for Wesal too.
"I feel like I am the one who will collapse to the ground, dead. I simply don't have the energy left; I am not a superhuman robot—I am a human being with limited stamina. The strain of standing, the constant vigilance and caution, and the need to monitor the IV drip—watching it fall drop by drop because the flow rate cannot be increased without risking adverse effects on the heart—have all taken their toll."
This is the second time that Farah has been admitted to hospital in a very short time. It is very costly, but there is no other option. The potassium supplements that Farah should be receiving have been unavailable for months now. We must keep Farah alive so she can be evacuated by the WHO when the opportunity arises.

sometimes your distress does indicate you should stop and respect your limitations. at other times it's more of a baby aquatic mammal being introduced to water for the first time thing. Too bad the difference is so hard to tell.
I haven't seen anyone do a writeup about this theory on tumblr despite a lot of theorizing about what actually happened at the end of weird route. I figured I may as well give it a shot (also I wanted to keep a copy for personal reference). I didn't come up with this theory, and it seems have originated with @/creepysteeple on bluesky (link to their post, which i basically just transcribe).
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 5 WEIRD ROUTE AHEAD
On the weird route, Susie will force you to talk to Sans and get ice cream at the festival. Sans will say he's out of ice cream, and instead give you this piece of bread. Looking at this description, we can see:

This description is very similar to two items in Earthbound Beginnings/Mother 1, the bread and bread crumbs. In that game, when a character uses bread instead of eating it, the bread becomes bread crumbs. Those crumbs let you warp to wherever that character was when you first used the bread.
This leads to a glitch where using the crumbs from a temporary party member named Pippi allows you to go out of bounds and skip massive portions of the game. Pippi is unusual in that she can level up and equip items like the rest of the main characters, and since she's rather strong, players will try to keep her in their party for longer. Is any of this sounding familiar?

Toby Fox is a huge fan of the Mother series, and you can see the series' influence clearly in Deltarune. I wouldn't put it past him to sneak in a reference here. If this is the case, Noelle– an extremely powerful temporary party member– is clearly meant to parallel Pippi. Weird route also allows you to skip the entirety of chapter 6, which I would count as a massive portion of the game. Following this train of logic to its conclusion, Noelle has probably led Kris somewhere "out of bounds" of Hometown, perhaps even into the depths where Gaster is or into the game's code itself. This would also line up with Noelle's knack for finding glitches and secret routes in games, along with the whole "follow the snow mage" bit from the sword route.
TLDR; Kris and Noelle probably didn't drown and are outside the bounds of the game, and I am deathly afraid of what's happening in chapter 7b.
