one thing i was unsure of regarding the mating bond "rejection" was the fact that i don't think she'd willingly hurt lucien UNLESS he turns on them and I've seen people speculate that he will but i don't get that feeling....i do think that he'll be happy with vassa and that sjm might give him a decent arc. so then how do we go on about this rejection business? well...truth teller! she'll use it to unmake it. ✨this is what makes the most sense #ToMe

but tbh I'm confused and at a loss with the "azriel is her true mate part" because of madja saying that "only a mate will know what is amiss" and azriel being able to smell the bond and it making him physically sick...so is it two bonds at the same time? what's really going on here 😭 what if elriel bond is somehow being kept at bay like subdued by something? now i'm waffling but all this confuses me.
