It is safe to say that Outside Magazine arriving in my London, Ontario mailbox was monthly inspiration for teenaged me to become a photographer. And I count myself fortunate to have both worked on assignment for @outsidemagazine and to have had two images featured in the magazine's Exposure section. But to top it all off, having my photo of @petezuc and a sleepy humpback whale selected for the 40th Anniversary book project (The Edge of the World) AND to have the editor relay a two paragraph story about what I am 99% sure is my image in the introduction is profoundly exciting and slightly surreal. The book is filled cover to cover with amazing images. Thanks @amy_silverman for making me a small part of it. I don't know if Pete ever kicks himself for NOT carrying a camera on this dive, but I know that I am happy he didn't. (at Mo'orea)
