Tim being called suddenly to space for some random supervillain shenanigans or other by Kon. Halfway through the space trip there, Rye just comes out of nowhere and sits down in the navigators chair by Tim.

“Before you ask, three things: I was bored, I had time off, and yes I checked with Dick before we left about the danger level and he said it’d (probably) be fine. I wanna see space!!”

Tim staring at Rye as he has heart attacks because she’s in space and on a possibly dangerous mission.

He literally cannot find the words so he just goes “eh?” Before sticking with Rye on most of the trip to make sure she’s safe. He says it’s couples time.

“Wow, AND he’s chivalrous” royal!rye smirks, grabbing her sword before she takes his hand and allows herself to be pulled to standing. “Careful, not all rulers are as gracious as I with your games, either.”

Tim lets out a chuckle before bringing her hand closer to his mouth and leaves a kiss on her knuckles. “I’m always chivalrous.” He lets go of her hand and pulls away to grab his own sword that was knocked out of his hand. “Sadly, I learned that the hard way. Nearly got my head cut because a nearby noble got upset I beat their son in battle.”

Royal!rye getting the breath knocked out of her suddenly when Tim tackles her to the ground, sword going flying out of her hand. “Well, well, isn’t this a surprise? What else are you hiding, Timothy?”

Tim holds to blade up to her throat before pulling it away and shoving it back into his boot. “Trust me, I’m full of surprises. Maybe if you’re lucky enough… I can show you all of them.” He carefully stands up and holds out his hand to her. “I won’t call this a win because I didn’t play fair. So enjoy this victory.”

Royal!Rye and Tim sparring with swords👀

This is the good shit.

He knows in fighting not to underestimate who you are fighting against.

Plus doesn’t help the land she comes from is known for their swordsmanship.

Imagine when fighting Rye gets the upper hand and has her blade to his throat but he just winks as he pulls out a knife from his boot throwing her blade away from his neck and straight tackles her to the ground.

Dark!Rye backing Tim up against a wall and slapping a hand down against it an inch from Tim’s head, leaning in close until their noses almost brush. “What’d I say before about coming around my club, darling?”

Tim holds up his drink with a raised eyebrow as he’s backed up against the wall. “Whatever you think I did. I didn’t do”. He jumps slightly at the slap against the wall. He glances over at her arm then back at her with a smile growing on his face. “If I remember correctly! You said to not come around but I’ll have you know that all you did was peck my curiosity so I had to see why Rye. My favorite crime buddy doesn’t want lil o’ me around here.”

Siren!Rye getting into the bad habit of when she wants attention or needs him for something, waiting until he gets close enough to the edge of the deck- lunging up and snatching him over the side and into the sea with her.

Tim doesn’t fight back when he’s pulled over the edge and just accepts his fate. It took his crew a couple of weeks to get used to Rye pulling him over deck. Que a few instances where they jumped in after him and had to deal with a very angry Siren tug of war with Tim.

Kitten!Rye, sneaking up on Tim when he’s trying to break into a building. The same one she is, in fact- for two completely different reasons. “Hey there hot stuff, you come here often?” Rye whispers into his ear when she’s close enough.

Tim hears the click of the lock opening before leaning against Rye with a chuckle. “I come here a lot because of certain stray cat keeps getting inside. What do they have you going in here for now? If it’s for the Veiled Virgin that statue is a fake and the very real one is in Canada.” He leaves a quick kiss on her chin as he hits to dismantle the museum’s security. “That’s what the Bat has me investigating… Who is money laundering and why… I was actually going to find you and ask you a few questions about the people who buy the art? Can you help me this once?”

I already put the Batmobile on child lock so it’s gonna get you safely out of here and if you try to hack it… I’ll know” Tim leaves a kiss on her cheek before closing the door and watching the car speed off.

I just have to get Nightwing and I’m out of here. I promise no funny business. We dealt with Bane before so we got this one in the bag”
