Reagan has a difficult relationship with physical contact, we all know that. She has to have a person that she trusts to actually let them touch her, she’s only comfortable with the gang and you.

You still needed to take things slow at first cuz she just wants really used to it.

But you two have been doing a shit ton of progress tho! hand holding and kissing, you know, it’s not too much but it’s not too little. It was perfect for her.

One night as you guys were just watching some random series on her tv she asked you if you can hold her, or at least try, she wanted to try it out cuz the idea of it seems pretty nice.

You were a bit shocked- she never really asked for something like this but you were more that happy to do that for her.

So she sat on your lap, as you had your hands around her.

She was a bit tense at first for slowly her body started relaxing. And oh boy-

She let out the biggest sigh of relief- she was quite literally melting into you.

Seeing her like this made your heart so damn happy. She was usually very stressed so watching her, melting into you like this was just <3333

I’m sure she fell asleep after few mins cuz she’s one tired gurl. You of course let her get her sleep. Cuz she really needed it

After this night, she was pretty hyped about cuddling and physical touch in general.

I imagine you holding her as she does her paper work. Or she just sometimes asks for hugs when she’s very stressed.

After the “tearing off hands incident” she was very anxious about the way she touches people. Like,, she thinks that she mind accidentally hurt you. Which she doesn’t want to cuz she cares about you.

She was ok with you holding her but her holding you was this unknown territory.

She’s always gets what she wants so she tries!! Tries to gently hold your hand, stroke your body.

Again, one night as you were coming to bed, she just randomly hugged you from behind. Her hands was firm around your body but you could feel trying her very best.

“Is this- Is this ok? Am I squeezing you too tightly?” She asked, you could hear the fear in her voice.

“It’s perfect love, thank you~” after you said that her body relaxed. The tense feeling was gone.

She then slowly dragged you into the bed, still holding you.

“This is nice- I like how warm and soft you are~” she muffed into your shoulder.

“It’s nice to hold you- finally, I wanted to do this for so long but I just couldn’t-“

You just let out a quiet hum as your hand reached to stroke her cheek.

Hello, this is my first ever oneshot. I hope y'all like it !

Also as you can tell by the title, the Y/n in this will be male because there's essentially no Reagan Ridley X Male Readers on here last I checked. (Besides this one and the headcanons that I made)

And with that injected into your brain, let's begin !

P.S : The relationship between you and Reagan isn't ever mentioned in this so you can imagine the relationship in this as either platonic or romantic.

It was the middle of the night as you laid on your bed, wide awake when you should be asleep. You couldn't help but remove the blanket on top of you as you made your way towards the Living Room to check up on Reagan.

And to no surprise, she's out like a light on her desk. You silently sighed as you thought of anyway you could help, you've tried dragging her to bed but she woke up instantly and broke free from your grasp as she was a lot stronger than she looked. Any other idea wouldn't be helpful as she was asleep so what could you do ?

Well... you could just make sure she was warm and place the blanket you were using onto her. 'Yeah, good idea Y/n.' You thought to yourself as you went back to your room, grabbed the blanket and gently wrapped it around Reagan.

It's not like you needed it as you weren't cold in anyway and she was clearly in need of it more, so overall you had no issues giving the blanket over to the sleeping Reagan.

(Timeskip to the morning after.)

Reagan slowly began to open her eyes as she realized that she had yet again fallen asleep while working, she quietly sighed as she raised her head up from her desk. And that's when she noticed the blanket wrapped around her.

"The hell ? I didn't have this blanket on me." Reagan whispered as she removed the blanket from her body, she soon noticed you placing a cup of water down next to her aswell as some pancakes.

"Morning sleeping beauty." You playfully taunted as you placed Reagan's food next to her, but given her expression she seemed... confused ?

"What are you doing Y/n ?" Reagan asked much to your surprise, as she seriously never been properly taken care of ? If that was the case... then looks like you'll have to teach her how nice it feels.

"I'm just making sure you're doing well, also I gave you that blanket earlier."

"But.. why ?" Reagan questioned.

"It is only natural to look over somebody I care for, it's how I roll." You explained.

Reagan by this point was at a complete lost for words, she never expected for somebody to genuinly care about her well being. After all it's not like she did, so why are you ?

"C'mon your food is gonna get cold. Here I'll feed you." You picked up a fork and grabbed one of the pancakes with it.

"I- I can feed myself." Reagan said but you simply shook your head.

"Just eat." You bluntly responded as you brought the pancakes near her face, Reagan finally decided to take a bite and her expression and mood seemed to have brighten up a lot.

"T-that actually tastes really good !" Reagan exclaimed with a small smile on her face, damn she had a cute smile...

"I'm glad you think so ! Now c'mon eat up the rest." You happily responded as you kept feeding Reagan her pancakes.

After she was done with her food and water, you could swear you saw a tear in her eye.

"A-are you crying Reagan ?" You asked, both confused and concerned.

To your surprise, Reagan engulfed you in a big warm hug. "Nobody has ever taken care of me before Y/n, not even myself..." She explained as some happy tears falling down her face.

All you could do was smile and hug her back.

-For the next few days after what had happened you did not go into the robotics department. Of course you didn’t want to be caught being there when you aren’t supposed to be working with Reagan anymore.

it’s something you and Reagan agreed with on top of Cognito. It’s best that no one gets suspicious. The new fish that’s only been here for barely a year is Dating Reagan Ridley?

-That was until Reagan found a way to cut the cameras. You now sneak in whenever Reagan is alone

-For the first date it took Reagan such a long time to plan. She wanted everything to be perfect. The both of you eventually settled for a cafe far away enough so then no Cognito employees would pass by and see you two chatting.

-you walked by her side as you left the cafe. Before leaving it’s doors Reagan peered out just to check if the coast was clear

- he seems like a radiohead listener, and whether this is done ironically or un-ironically is up for interpretation.. but I also think he’d definitely still appreciate 80’s music, Tears for Fears, The Smiths, AC/DC.. he was also a big fan of Metallica and Iron Maiden growing up.

- I honestly kinda love trans ron headcanons because… cis people don’t stand like that. + he’s bi, just trust me he told me himself.

- still super embarrassed of his high-school and early college years. his parents (who he doesn’t talk to much anymore) have pictures of him when he was younger all over the house. speaking of which, he ended up going no contact with them pretty early in his 20’s.

- he hyper-fixates really easy, so, whether it’s a type of animal or low budget show he found on netflix while doom scrolling, it’s not going to leave his mind until he finds a new one. will also play a specific song 50x over if he likes a specific part.

- constantly fidgety, can not sit in a chair without bouncing his leg, and has a bad habit of picking at his nails.

- has met bo burnham once on accident. he has a selfie with him.. he isn’t sure how he feels about it. he stares at it from time to time trying to evoke some emotion so he can figure it out though still can’t figure it out.

- casual stoner especially if he needs to relax I think he’d get along with andre pretty well if they ever got more time to talk.

- you can’t tell me he doesn’t game, grew up on COD, and now will not hesitate to play minecraft. he reminds me a lot of an enderman to be honest and he really kind of is one.

- he does go nonverbal from time to time, but usually when he’s caught up in doing something, usually when he’s working, or hyper focusing on something. he won’t even notice he’s doing it until someone tries to talk to him, and he gets pretty bewildered.
