Do you have a favorite time traveling character? Time traveling organization? Location used to time travel? Object associated with wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff? Singular episode of a series where timelines get strange? Something I can't even think of but you 100% believe it should be presented to an audience because That's Time Travel, Baby? They may be in this tournament!
(Please note that there may be spoilers in this tournament's participants due to the nature of time travel.)
There are 64 contenders still in the running and 128 total participants in this tournament.
The second round will occur in two parts (referred to as "sides") due to the number of matchups. Both sides will have 16 one week-long matchup polls posted at a time. Side B will be released on the fourth day of Side A.
What to Know:
If you would like to add propaganda, tag this blog in your reblog or separate post and I will reblog it. I may also add it to the main poll's propaganda (unless you wish otherwise).
If there's a reason I should change an image used for a participant, just send an ask about it and I'll see what I can do! The same goes for any other changes.
Look for polls under #TTT poll, asks under #TTT ask, and separate propaganda under #TTT propaganda!
A full list of current matchups are under the cut! Links to polls will be added when they're posted.

SPOILERS FOR / UP TO DNDADS S1E64 (of course) Players conspire against their DM together and time travel without his knowledge. How does this happen? They literally go back and edit the second episode of the podcast to change the past and play it to him when they're given the opportunity to go back in time. Some viewers starting the podcast after the fact literally just thought it was a gag they never addressed or that they had made a mistake in continuity and tried to patch it up in a funny way

amazing beautiful book about two time travelers on opposite sides of a time war. the setting is so interesting and the whole book's epistolary. highly recommend.
WOE.BEGONE (Podcast)
THE time travel podcast. It starts with Mike Walters investigating an ARG and just keeps building from there. Intricate webs of connections built from different timeline versions of people. Many different variations and applications of time travel. Extremely interesting explorations of identity and also explorations of how the time travel logic works. Everything and everybody impacts everything and everybody else and you can just watch it happen. The timeline was rewritten like seven times and there are still inevitabilities despite all you can change. Please listen to WOE.BEGONE.
WOE.BEGONE is THE time travel show because it actually invented a useful time travel lingo that can be applied to the overall discussion of time travel.

Sekwang Special City (Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work)
Spoilers for Part 2 of GSGW!! Sekwang Special City is a city trapped in a time loop, forever reliving its destruction in order to protect the rest of the world from the thing emerging within its walls. The repeated deaths of the citizens (and all other living things within its borders) are what power the time loop. Every trace of it has been erased, with everyone in the outside world unaware of both the fate of the city and its existence. Also, when corpses enter the loop, their past selves are pulled in in their stead. Maximum time travel per time loop!
A variant of the time loop (where it's just a normal day in the city and no apocalypse happens over and over) also temporarily exists when the protagonist falls into the loop for the first time, but the world in that city deteriorates as loops progress.
Forever & Always (Nightmare Time)
It's an episode of the show that involves an android from the future going back in time to steal the life of the human that her design was based on, only to end up falling in love with said human's husband for real.

The Magic Tree House (The Magic Tree House series)
“The tree house started to spin. It spun faster and faster. Then everything was still. Absolutely still.“ Initially Jack and Annie go around time but eventually mythology gets brought in too. It’s an amazing beginning reading series that teaches more than just reading and was my first (most beloved?) introduction to Camelot. Plus I grew up with woods out back and always thought it would’ve been fun to find a magic treehouse of my own.
Marty McFly (Back to the Future)
The character of all time. He accidentally prevents his parents from meeting and starts fading out of existence. He tries to save his bestie from getting shot by telling him 30 years before it happens. He wears 4 layers in October in California. He has problems thinking 4th dimensionally. He just wants to play guitar and hang out with his girlfriend, but first he has to save the world and his own life like 5 times.

Lu Guang (Shiguang Dailiren / Link Click)
HEAVY LINK CLICK SPOILERS AHEAD his time travel work is actually insane. his original power is to see 12 hours into the future of when a photo was taken (a power which he possibly gained through human experimentation as a child). but then, his best friend cheng xiaoshi died, and he had the power of jumping back in time, into a photo, in the body of who took it. when cheng xiaoshi was killed, lu guang cradled him as he died, leading to a power transfer. using this newly aquired power, he jumps back in time, always at 00:05, september 13, using different photos he find, streching back even as far to their first meeting in a basketball during what can be assumed to be their highschool years. he has notes on key events and plays with probabilities rather than direct influence, being so good at this he managed to get cheng xiaoshis killer to have a heart attack before he can get a book containing key information. he also has a disregard for whos lives he effects, having caused the death of multiple people while trying to save cheng xiaoshi as, he himself says, "death is a node that cannot be changed." yet he tries anyways. he also is in an unknowing battle with cheng xiaoshis mom, who is diving back in time, same as him, to save her husband. her actions however, may be the very reason lu guangs plans to save cheng xiaoshi fail. and throughout it all, he manages to keep this power and this past deep burried secret, and act like someone who cares about sticking to the rigid rules of time travel that he is currently breaking, all to save his partner.
Craigh na Dun (Outlander)
Time travel stone circle!!! Only down side is that it’s not a real place…tho there are other stone circles

They're a criminal time travel organisation, sure, but their outfits are just SO good.

the way the pieces fall into place one by one is incredibly satisfying

I Think James Is In a Time Loop (Short film)
It's a short film about someone in a time loop, from the perspective of the people not aware of the loop!
Timeless (TV show)
Absolutely love the general concept of the show where a history professor, traumatized military guy, and device tech go chase down a guy who stole a Time Machine in the less polished prototype. The very first episode has them go back to the Hindenburg and the “bad guy” essentially saves everyone (but 1) from tragedy. Sparking a delima between saving lives/preventing tragedy and preserving history/their present day. The consequences become clear when, upon returning, the prof’s mom is no longer terminal and her sister has ceased to exist! There’s another episode with Ian Fleming and in the return timeline the man made their adventure into a killer Bond story. The shows got a lot of fun and nice details over all. Gave me ideas for a similar story.

Several years after the Pevensie siblings have returned to our world, Prince Caspian blows the horn which calls them back to a Narnia several hundred years removed from the one they knew
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine s5e6 - "Trials and Tribble-ations" (TV episode)

Hero / The Luminary (Dragon Quest XI)
MAJOR plot spoilers for the game (that came out 9 years ago) but after a fake-out "ending" of the game with credits and everything he finds out a way to go back in time and decides that he didn't save the world good enough the first time, goes back and does it all over again so that one of his friends doesn't die along the way (and also generally preventing a lot of Bad Things Happening To The World). I think it's a little bit of a unique use of time travel because he DID succeed at Slaying The Great Evil and saving the world, but he STILL decided to go do it again BETTER when given the opportunity. Also, he kinda gets punished for it because in a classic time travel consequences way, turns out defeating the Big Bad Evil Guy super early because he knows how everything's gonna go actually let a Bigger Badder More Evil Guy get unleashed and then he has to deal with that, lmao. Everything turns out way better overall in the end though. The MEANS of time travel is pretty cool because it's The Time Sphere in The Tower Of Lost Time that seems to... Like... Absorb the passage of time? And then he shatters it and it takes him back to a point in the past somehow. Idk it's not explained in a lot of detail but it's neat. You can use the Sphere as the competitor instead of Luminary if you'd prefer a funky Glowing Sphere Of Time as more interesting than Some Guy. Or put them both in separately. The Time Keeper who watches over it is pretty cool and freaky looking too.

Dark (TV Show)
It's so good. One of the few mystery-box/super complicated time travel plot shows that actually pays everything off and seems to know where it's going with its twists and turns.
Stay? (Interactive story)
It's a choose your own adventure time loop story/game, it's really good I spent hours trying to get to the perfect ending.
