This is Marvin, my lovely dnd character :) They are a Rune knight and their hammer turns into a small keychain that attaches to her bag when not in use.
It's finally done! They've got no name right now, but I wanted to make a vsmp version of my normal minecraft skin, and accidentally ended up with lore.
When she was a child, she got caught in the same war Legundo fought in, but as a civilian. She received horrible shrapnel wounds from bombings and gunfire which left severe scars on her face and body. The healing and aftermath left her depressed and isolated. She didn't want to interact with other children or leave the house.
Finally she was convinced to go see the circus nearby. She became entranced with the performances. She is allowed to meet some of the performers backstage. They are kind, they aren't fearful of her. One of them shows her their own scars. They make her laugh. It had been a long time since she had smiled that much.
This eventually leads her to making the mask she wears the majority of the time.
During her time alone, she learns to draw and paint. She gets a job in the back of a small store, and eventually saves up enough money to move. She wants to find the perfect place to paint. Her ultimate goal was to head towards a larger city, and hope to get an apprenticeship, but she was not opposed to settling down somewhere smaller in the meantime.
That's how she ends up in Oakhurst. She keeps to herself, and decides to make her house outside the walls early on. Ren soon joins her. Avid is a little freaked out by her, but doesn't necessarily think she's a vampire.
She is the fifth turned, not long after Cleo. She had joined a few of the towns folk in gathering books, and got left behind in the chaos of a fight. Lacking combat experience and old scars hurting led to her getting cornered and turned by Scott.
She sticks with the town, but remains neutral with the castle. She clings to Cleo's certainty, and develops a relationship almost reminiscent of Pyro and Scott's. Although I think Cleo would find it more annoying than anything.
She still finds time to paint when she can, and ends up running into Pyro several times because of it. He shows her some of the best views of the area, and agrees to leave her alone for the most part.
Towards the end, everything around her is crashing down, and finally. Her mask breaks in a fight. During the battle, she's just glad the blow didn't actually hit her skin, but the actual lost of it hits when she returns home. And she breaks down.
The weight of everything hits and she gets to level 3 and chops her hair off. They're tired of all of it. They don't want to be weak anymore.

Man being non-binary sucks ass sometimes, because when youre binary trans you get to be fairly certain and go "I am a woman and here is my new name!" And I know that comes with its own struggles, but figuring out you're nb is like, "huh, maybe this mild discomfort with my assigned gender means something." But you're still girly and it's not bad enough to really do much about, but you also feel that same mild discomfort for the other side?? Like, if I don't wanna be a girl, then shouldn't I be a boy?? That's how that's supposed to go. But the discomfort is only mild so still nothing happens. And you keep confusing yourself asking what the fuck it all means and why you feel the way you do about certain things and what that could mean for you and its getting you nowhere. Because of this uncertainty you've just annoyed everyone around you. And so I'm probably Agender, but like, I feel that I've just been so annoying about that I can't say anything. The discomfort is only mild.
Art fight revenge on @khouzee!! This piece kicked my ass. Still trying to figure out how to draw lineless in a way that I like (and also doesn't take so much time). Had a fun time drawing him with a bunch of accessories though.
Okay okay, so upon rewatching Monkie Kid, I noticed something, this tiger from episode 8 is absolutely Monkey King isn't it??
Here's the tiger from ep 8,
And here's Monkey king as a tiger in episode 9. His stripes are exactly the same, and he has the blue triangle on his chest. This is such a cool detail that I never would have noticed had I not rewatched the show. Great work Monkie kid team.
