H: They can handle it. We need to reach out if we want change anyway.

K: Hm...What do you think, Nozomi?

N: I'm with Hiruko. I'm sick of hiding.

K: Okay then. Online in 3...2...1...

Hello!! Mod Lane, back again!!

This is an 🩷extremely spoiler heavy🩷 blog. Please do not follow or interact unless you have read all routes, especially SF, or are completely fine with having everything spoiled for you.

It is also an 🩷extremely headcanon heavy🩷 blog. I am literally making up who the lab coat lady is. This will probably all be disproven if we get dlc. But thats the fun part!

This is a text based rp blog for a group of three mysterious time traveling ladies living 'outside' of the timelines in the @thl-ask-rp verse. They also travel with @ask-former-kako-g. Who are they, what are their goals? Follow along to find out!

Small hint, all characters are adults (on this blog) and I don't care what you ask, but follow the group rules and if I don't like it, I won't answer it. I recommend asking them interesting timetravel or character lore questions, I have thought so much about the time travel and multiverse mechanics.

“A scout mission?” Eva questioned immediately after receiving her orders. Quenzelle had carried out her sister’s demands to everyone. Eva was last. He was acting on behalf of V’ehxness like a dog on a leash. The Paragon of Repulsion didn’t take long to buddy up with her. His cowardice was paraded about so easily that the other Paragons despised him. Eva included. “Yes. And hurry up.” He scolded her as if he were in charge. She took the map out of his hand and gave it a thorough look. It also came with a complete schedule of when she’d attack the Academy. Thankfully, she had time to go to her rendezvous point with some of the rebels to give her daughter a quick visit. Even if it meant she’d see a glimpse of her, it would give her enough hope to carry on. The job, being a Paragon of Nature, didn’t come with guidelines. Her affinity for it rests on the ability to care. Though it was the power of God, she only wanted to see Kamyuhn. From an early age, Eva was taught how to survey the area, watch her blind spots, and determine the best routes for safety. The man who raised her and V’exhness was a devoted man, but also a man of war. She was trained well. Eva went under the radar. No one had followed her or found her. The tired woman sat down on one of the makeshift benches and stared up at the hollow skies. The camp was empty. This was good. They were in the better, safer village. Even if she couldn’t see her, Eva could carry herself more easily knowing Kamyuhn was safe. Then a voice broke her thoughts. It felt natural for her to reply, “Hello!” Why did it feel so natural? The Paragon shot up, took a step back, then assessed the situation further. There stood a woman of similar stature to her, but shrouded in a way that Eva could not recognize the individual. “Did my sister send you?” She snapped, realizing she had been too friendly before. “Or was it Quenzelle?” A very serious expression was plastered in a way to show she was ready to fight if needed.

Of course at this point in the timeline Mother would be on edge around strangers! Kamyuhn was so good at thinking of possibilities and outcomes, but sometimes she forgot about people's feelings.

"Neither." She answered honestly and held her hands up. Even if she wanted to fight, she didn't have more than a small blade and an EMP pulse gun to defend herself. Neither would work against her Mother's divine form. If she needed, she could much more easily find an escape route, but she didn't want to miss this opportunity now that she was here.

"I promise, I'm not a part of the imperial army at all. I don't support V'exhness. But I also don't side against her enough to want to fight you. I'm...I'm just a wanderer, looking to talk."

The answer to her question made her blood chill. If they weren't with the commanders, then who could they be? Did a resistance member tell someone about this place? Maybe this person didn't know the significance of this location. So, Eva remained quiet and observant. When their hands were raised, Eva became even more suspicious.

"Talk about what?" Eva's question was sharp-tongued. What could this wanderer want to talk about? Eva still offered a chair. Curiosity pinched her, after all.

She would remain a healthy distance away from the person, keeping her guard up.

Kamyuhn sat. What did she want to talk about? Honestly, this had been an impulsive decision. She hadn't come with a plan. And that meant she wanted to interfere with this timeline as little as possible. She couldn't be honest about her identity, couldn't open up and admit that what she desperately wanted, above all else, was just to hug her Mother again and be told that everything was alright.

Still, this was an opportunity to talk to her mother, she wouldn't waste it.

"I just want to talk. I...don't get to speak with people often. Or, not new people, anyway. I live with some friends. They're...like my family now.

"My...family died years ago. I still grieve them, I think about them a lot, especially my mother. I'm trying to be strong without them, and to find my own path. But that path has lead me far from theirs, so I don't know what they would think of what I'm doing. I...I like to think Mother would support what I'm doing, but abandoning the war she died for..."

She had to stop herself or she'd say too much. Or her tears would spill over. She couldn't believe she was already so emotional. Was she still a crybaby after all these years?

So, whats your current mission, if you don’t mind me asking?

H: We don't have any 'current mission' per se.

H: We tend to monitor the timelines as a whole, take readings, notice any changes in bloodwave patterns, that sort of thing.

H: Then occasionally we'll go out on expeditions to specific timelines if we think we need to get involved more personally.

H: But right now we are keeping a closer eye on one, maybe two timelines.

H: You may know the blog timeline? They're actually what inspired us to make this blog and reach out, particularly to you anons.

H: And then I believe some call it the 'dark' timeline? Though I don't know where that name came from.

H: It's not exactly inaccurate, but I've seen plenty of 'dark' timelines so...

H: We've already played a hand in some things within those timelines, but if we're right, there might be...

H: someone we need to visit.

N: Hmph.

P: I see, I see… The cat matter is still up in the air for my brain.

P: Ah, don’t mind that sentence. I was just talking to thin air.

P: I think I have a good grasp on N and K, but…

P: Sorry, fellow anons! I’m not gonna reveal my revelations! If you can’t figure it out yourselves, then you’re probably in spoiler territory!

P: Although if you haven’t finished your “studies” then why are you here, dummy

P: Ahem. Where was I…

P: Do you have any leads on the Cycle? I would offer help, but unfortunately my knowledge of this planet has its limits.

N: Unfortunately, "leads" is most of what we have.

N: "Answers" are the hard part.

*She leads you to a room. There are papers strewn about. Notes cling to all the walls, connected in all manor of ways; by string, by wires, by lasers. Computers display rotating models and cycling numbers. Everywhere there is books and scrolls, and seemingly random items, all scattered haphazardly as if thrown away when someone was done looking at them.*

*K is sitting at a desk, reading something in a language you can't understand. Or at least, N can't.*

N: Hey, you got a minute?

N: What do we know about the Cycle? I figured you'd be a better person to ask.

K: Hm, lets see...there's a theory that the Cycle is a powerful curse from God that's placed on a group with divine blood.

K: Either God themself is punishing them for stealing the holy blood, or someone prayed to God to curse them. Maybe many someones.

K: There's a related idea that a sacrifice would have been needed for this prayer.

K: There's also the theory that it's mechanical in nature. That someone started it, and it won't end until another force causes it to end.

K: Both may be true at the same time. Did God force someone to act? Maybe if that were the case, we could force God to set us free. Or maybe if a sacrifice started this, a sacrifice is needed to end it...

K: There have always been legends of the Cursed Cycle, even before this one began. Was there a previous Cycle, or was this prophesized? Or is this Cycle within a Cycle?

K: Trying to find more about the legends is difficult, with the way Futurm is now.

K: ...

K: *Sighs*

P: My oh my, chatrooms are always fun!

P: There's a particular black cat I'm keeping an eye on. I wonder if she's among you, or if it's a different one with the same pelt.

P: But ah well, the mystery is part of the fun! So, my dear friends, what brought you all together in this common goal?

K: It's really all because of Hiruko. She was the one who recruited all of us.

H: I imagine you know about the Cursed Cycle and timeloops. That I started remembering previous loops.

H: Eventually I was able to upgrade the PLM. We can now travel forwards and backwards in time as well as leaping between timelines.

H: While this doesn't allow me to leave the cycle, this does allow me much more freedom within it.

H: That was when I truly began my investigations.

K: And soon she recruited me.

K: She knew she'd need my intellect!

K: I was...alone at the time. I didn't know it, but the missiles were about to launch in my timeline.

K: So, Hiruko saved me. I'm grateful.

N: It was a few years later I joined.

N: I'd...just been through something traumatic.

N: And I was also alone by that point.

N: When I saw Hiruko again, I was shocked.

N: I couldn't believe it. I'd seen her die.

N: But then she explained things. I didn't really understand at first but...

N: I was just happy to not be alone.

Who was the lady in the white coat?

Kako Tsumuko?: OK, wow. Guess we're going to start with the hard hitting questions right away, huh? I can respect it though. A good detective always goes to the heart of the problem!

Kako Tsumuko?: Unfortunately This is probably something I should leave to my friends over at @timeline-investigation-squad . I know it's probably not the best idea to avoid answering my first question, but since it more concerns them I don't want to say anything without their permission

Kako Tsumuko?: Those 3 and I are actually traveling together! Thats right, I'm a member of the Timeline Investigation Squad. Sort of. I asked to do my own broadcast because I... well I felt I should speak to people more directly. After everything I've done.. It wouldn't be right to hide behind my friends. I need to take responsibility.

Kako Tsumuko?: So, in the end I'm sorry to say I can't tell you that quite yet. I hope thats ok for now.

H: I was the one who recruited Kako the night she was cured of the G'ie.

H: Other times, it depends. We all go on expeditions.

H: We've stopped using the leap suits when we explore because of the chance of being recognized in them.

H: Now, we wear our lab coats, which are useful for carrying tools and collecting samples, and can also generate a photon particle mask to disguise us from anyone in a timeline who might recognize us.

H: We can even expand the field for a short period of time to cloak ourselves.

H: So as for who "the lady in the white lab coat" is, it's all of us.

K: Who's Kurara? Wait, I think I know this. She's one of the people in the timelines. A member of the SDU. The one who wears the mask, correct?

N: Kurara is...an old friend. She's not here, I'm afraid.
