I love this…because when they were filming The Doctor getting exterminated and he fell onto the mat and Billie was hugging him, they stopped rolling the cameras but David kept hugging her and Billie didn’t let go. The best part? The crew just let them embrace each other. It was actually the first time David saw Billie since Doomsday. Even during the script read, I think they said in an interview that they had blocked out Billie’s parts and told the rest of the cast and crew to not let on anything, then David was with Catherine and she said “Why don’t you ask her yourself?” And David wasn’t playing a Confused Doctor, he was actually confused and The director motioned for him to turn around and there was Billie. That was real happiness David had. That’s why this is one of my favorite scenes.

You know what this proves contrary to what people may think about Beckett’s level of communication with her dad? That Beckett talks to Jim, and not only does she talk to him, she talks to him about Castle. And not only does she talk to him about Castle, she talks to Jim about how safe Castle makes her feel. *happy sigh*
