Deanoru Scenes in Season Two » 2.13 - Split Up
karolina being the literal and metaphorical light of nico’s life is some next level soulmate shit. like nico is darkness but there can’t be light without darkness and vice versa. karolina is the guiding light that helps nico control that darkness and nico helps karolina stay grounded because she knows karolina wants to see the good and love in everyone but there are bad people out there. and it’s not even in the sense that darkness and light are opposites, it’s not a good vs evil type of situation its the idea that darkness and light are parallel and they exist to let the other exist.
“you’re not scary not to me, not ever. hey, your light i don’t mean like your literal light though that’s pretty cool too but, the light inside of you, that warmth, that openness that’s everything that i like about you, that’s what makes you who you are. “
