I know the animals are a pain on set, but the fact that no one in Schitt’s Creek has a pet is one of the most unrealistic parts of the show (especially since Ted is a vet). You can’t tell me that Ronnie doesn’t have a passive-aggressive cat that hates everyone but her or that Roland and Jocelyn don’t have an obnoxious mutt that eats out of the neighbor’s garbage...

Made a script version of this short fix-it fic (with a few minor tweaks/differences) for the ending scenes of the show. I just thought that what I previously wrote would work better as a script instead. TLDR; The fans deserved better than the trash we got. And perhaps most importantly, Bellamy Blake deserved better.
Writing this was therapeutic and I hope reading it provides the same experience. Sending lots of love to you all.

It’s quite obvious that while his conversation with Echo is painful for Bellamy, he is also pretty self contained,when he gets very emotional with Clarke, both raising his voice and shedding a tear, looking very much shaken and desperate. But let me add…
In his conversation with Echo he says “the man you love”, putting forward her feelings
With Clarke, he says “the one who brought you back from the dead, who wouldn’t give up on you”, putting forward his own feelings this time
“you should trust me because you love me” vs. “you should trust me because I love you”
anyway, Clarke is the love of Bellamy’s life
