—The fox looked friendly enough, maybe today would actually lead to a sale. She stepped out from behind the counter, briefly bowing at the other;
"I have a sale on watches today, if you're interested."
Hello... just so you guys know, there is a small sale on my clocks today, they're each handmade and unique s-so, if you're i-interested, please let me know."

Sonic was just sightseeing when he noticed a nifty little clock shop and decided to go in. Looking around, he noticed the cat come towards him
Are you interested in a clock? “Nah.” was the answer. “I’m jus’ lookin’ around.”
—Her ears fell back slightly when she heard the other wasn't interested in buying anything. But, understanding, she quietly nodded, and softly said;
“Well, if you ch-change your mind, each of the clocks here are handmade and e-entirely unique. I-I'll be right here if you need me, make yourself a-at home.”

—She heard the small bell she had above her door chime as someone entered the store. Quietly, she looked up from behind the glass counter she had fallen asleep at, ears perking slightly. Was this a customer, or a visitor? It was slow, but she stiffly moved from behind counter, approaching the hedgehog and bowing slightly before very quietly asking;
"Ah, h-hello. Are you interested in a clock?"

"I...understand what you mean about finding it hard to find friends." Winnie finally cut in, deciding to try help the blue blur with helping the elder female.
"But if you find the right people, they'll help you could out of you're shell and it will slowly lift your confidence. "Winnie smiled a bit, Sonic nodded in agreement and grinned brightly.
"Heck, we'll even be your friends and chill out together sometimes." Sonic gave a thumbs up, of course in moments like this all Sonic really knew to do was by acting positive as possible. Placing his hands down on the table, Sonic grinned widely.
"I meant be able to help ya, first of all, we need a new clock for the kitchen. Old one is busted~ And I can go ask my sis and a friend too, spread the word about this place! I can't promise it'll work out, but we can try."
Her ears perked up almost immediately.
Friends? And they wanted a clock!?
This was, by far one of her better shifts at Timepiece Central, even if it might be her last. Slowly her eyes dried, and she stepped out from behind the counter, still a little shaky with her steps from her weakened knees after her little breakdown. She directed them to follow her, stopping in front of a wall;
"Well, these are some of our more popular wall clocks. If you would like something personal I am more than willing to make you any design you want, I can probably have it ready for you pretty quickly. Is there any particular pattern you're looking for, or anything you like?"
And almost immediately, Celes was suddenly exuding an aura of confidence. She seemed to see these people weren't any real threat to her, and since clocks were a topic she knew rather well, she felt comfortable talking about them.
"It's getting closed down?" Sonic blinked, looking around abit at all the clocks hanging from the walls and what have you. He had to admit, not a lot of people were buying clocks anymore.
"Are you sure there's nothin' we can do to help?" Sonic finally asked, turning back to look at Celes. He hated to see someone down about a problem like this and wanted to know if there was anything he could do to help, but...it could be difficult trying to find people who were still interested in clocks.
"I-I don't know, I d-don't know if any-anything can be done. But o-o-once the store is cl-closed, I'll have nothing. I-I'm too timid to make friends, s-so I don't have a single friend, or a boyfr-friend, or anything... my ent-tire life is making clocks. That's all I've ev-ever known. I just, n-need something, anything, to draw in b-business."
Despite her state, the stammering was from a mild social anxiety, and it was evident in her quiet tone. She was facing her worst, and was afraid for the future by now. She was only eighteen years old and already her entire world has managed to crumble and fall all around her, leaving her on an unstable, small platform destined to plummet any moment.
"I just n-need to prove to Timepiece Central that I'm still qu-qualified to run a store... I just ne-eed them to see that I do get c-customers, but that this is a sm-small town. Just, an-anything to keep my st-store..."
"This is it, right?" Winnie muttered, looking at Sonic without questioning eyes to which the hedgehog nodded in reply. To be honest, the only reason they'd come here was because the clock that hung in their kitchen had recently broke and they needed to buy a brand new one, little did they know that the owner inside was sobbing her heart out over fear of loosing her store.
"Yuuuup." Sonic popped the P, nodding his head in agreement. Opening the door to blink in surprise at the quiet sound of clock ticking and sad sobbing coming inside.
"I gotta bad feeling about this..." Winnie raised an eyebrow, following the hedgehog inside and she froze as well at the sound. Sonic decided to go over to the main coon, wondering just what was going on.
"Hey bud, are you ok?" Sonic questioned, although his voice came out abit louder than he intended.
It took her a moment to look up, her eyes reddened with tears, the salt water that wouldn't stop pouring down her face. She slowly nodded, looking down as she spoke;
"I'm just being silly, right? My store might get closed tomorrow, that's all... I don't even know if it can be helped."
Another few seconds passed before she struggled to her feet, placing both hands on her glass counter, and taking a few moments to breathe and try to compose herself. Slowly she looked up, asking quietly;
"Is there any way I can help you today? Consider it a closing sale, I'll give you a great deal on anything you need..."
*Hails walked by a store, and noticed the sobbing feline as he entered the store.* "Well.... That's a lot of clocks... What's wrong?"
Her eyes widened as she heard the small bell over the door chime, and she swiftly stood up, trying to rub the tears from her eyes. She swiftly bowed, but her demeanor fell again within a matter of moments;
"W-welcome to Celes' Clocks and Watches, a homerun division of Timepiece C-Central, we're hav-having a closing sale on all clocks right now. M-my name is Celes, is there anything I can d-do for you today?"
Needless to say it was difficult for her to speak at the moment, between small hiccups and sniffles, the tears refusing to stop running down her dainty face, and her shaking, she had a rather difficult time even saying her usual introduction.
It was past three in the morning, and Celes still hadn't slept a wink. By this point she was well aware she wouldn't sleep until Timepiece Central had come to take what was theirs. In a matter of desperation, the cat stood from her bed, going to flip the open sign and turn the lights to the store on, and returned to her counter. She could only hope that someone, anyone would come in, someone able to help her. The cat couldn't say she was exactly strong, but she did seldom cry. But there they were, the hot streams of salty water running down her muzzle, leaving streaks tracing from her eyes to her chin, speckling the glass counter beneath her. A gloved hand soon came up to cover her mouth as she fell to her knees and sat there sobbing.
Her ears fell, pressing flat against her head, tomorrow a representative from Timepiece Central was 'undergoing a casual visit to her store' around noon. The young maine coon had heard this same story before from a neighbouring city, another ex-Timepiece Central store that got shut down from a 'casual' visit to the store by an executive. Naturally, the maine coon was anything but confident. She was scared, terrified, if she didn't find a way to draw in a ton of customers by tomorrow, she was getting shut down.
For good.
"It's closing time already and I didn't get a single customer today... I swear my branch is going to get shut down..."

A clock store, huh? The Green hedgehog thought to himself, upon entering the place he found himself getting greeted by a rather cute looking female. Glancing around at all the different clocks in amazement for a few seconds, Why hadn’t he heard of this place sooner?!
"Yooo…" Manic whispered to himself, all these tick tocking clocks were almost pretty peaceful to listen to as he stared at them in aware. Shaking his head out of his daze, he walked over to where Celes was. Shaking his head abit he grinned lightly.
"Ohh, I just thought I’d come take a look around, s’all!" Manic replied finally, goodness knows how long he’d left her waiting due to staring at those clocks.
"This place is pretty quiet…don’t you get a bunch of customers comin’ and goin?"
Celes was surprised to see someone as captivated with clocks as she was, and couldn't help but grin seeing him staring at the clocks. Even if he didn't buy anything, she always loved seeing people that appreciated her clocks.
"Ah, well, feel f-free to make yourself at home. Y-you're also a guest in my home. Can I g-get you anything to drink?"
The young cat gestured towards her kitchen briefly, until she was addressed the second time. Her ears fell slightly and she shook her head;
"People just d-don't appreciate clocks anymore. I-I'm actually barely getting b-by. They're thinking of sh-shutting down the Mobotropolis branch of the st-store."
