Baddiesims Noelly - a recolour of Goat's retexture

Ignore the misspelled name in the preview pic, I must have been tired when I made that. I love what Goat did with this hair so I just used her Volatile as a base and ran my usual set of actions over that. Some colours may be a bit darker than usual.

Small update

Life has been a bit better lately so I'm reopening requests. There will be a small caveat.

I've previously accepted all requests regardless of whether I had any use for the hair meshes in my game or not. Dealing with a 10+ item to-do list where half the meshes were stuff I wasn't really interested in doing led to a bit of burn-out. So, sorry, but some requests will get rejected.

I'll also be removing two colours from my usual palette (Lilith's Asuka and TheRaven's Chocolate) 'cause I'm not really using them as much as I thought I would. Not a lot of people seem to have them in their game either, so I doubt they'll be missed. You can still request specific extra colours and/or palettes (such as Pooklet's or Digi's), it's fine so long as it doesn't get abused.

I can only find those small preview images of the colors, but not the actual color files.I mean the PNG/JPG? files with the hair colors, if that makes sense 😅 I hope you know what I mean lol.If you don’t mind sharing, could you maybe share a link to where you got yours for retexturing? Regarding the base texture itself, Io has never officially uploaded it, as far as I know. The weird thing is, I distinctly remember two different people (but not exactly who and where) uploading some extracted Io textures that I've then started using for my retextures. IDK if this is due to Google going to shit or people deleting their original posts, but I can't find the links anymore. So I guess I'll just upload what I have? There was significant overlap between the contents of the two files I downloaded, so I just merged them into one folder and added some stuff along the way, when I found a hair retexture Io made that I really liked the look of. Credit goes exclusively to Io, with thanks to those who started extracting these textures in the first place.

Regarding the colors, I use a mix of PS actions from different creators. A good source (which I'm hoping we won't lose soon) is the GOS List of all Color Actions post.

Regarding the process, this almost-old-enough-to-vote tutorial was what I used to get started. Getting the concept of highlight placement took me a while, but I got great constructive feedback from the Show off your Creations thread that put me on the right track :D If you're unsure about where the highlights and the shadows should be, just use the mesh's original texture as reference (if available, if not you can use the preview pics for help), 98% of the time it's more than enough.

Stealthic Baron Retextured

This was part of a recent set of conversions by ProfesionalPartyGuest and their mesh is called Narcotic but I looked up the original for reference and it resembles Stealthic's Baron more than it does Narcotic... so maybe there was a mix-up? Also, I borrowed the texture @kazewindkw uses for scalps, please let me know if it is originally Kaze's or if it's somebody else's so I know who to credit.

Small update

I've been a bit inactive the past few weeks so I figured it's time to write this. Many thanks to those that sent me messages, your words mean a lot to me and that I truly appreciate them <3

I unfortunately have to close requests for a while. Those that are already sent will be fulfilled, including the two that I received anonymously this week. I've been doing poorly lately health-, time- and motivation-wise, and I think it's better to pause things before I get completely burnt out.
