What's your favorite thing about third earth, Usagi-San?
Well, it would be the company I keep while I visit, of course! Though, I am going to assume that you mean besides that.
Hmm, this is a difficult question! There are many things I have come to enjoy about Third Earth. Perhaps the scenery?
The city of New York that the turtles reside in is far different than anything that I have ever seen in my own world. While I admit that it took some getting used to, I have come to appreciate it and often enjoy the sight of the buildings illuminated at night.
It has its own type of beauty that, I will admit, cannot be found in my home.
Dark Horse comics for January 2016: this is the cover for Usagi Yojimbo #151, drawn by Stan Sakai.
If I were to send you a situation would you write usagi in it? Like an imagine prompt?
[ooc: Unfortunately, no. I’m sorry, Anon.
While I do still check this blog occasionally, it simply is not as active as it used to be, so I devote very little time to it.
It is also worth noting that this blog was never meant to be a “traditional” roleplay blog to begin with, as it’s more intended to create the illusion that Usagi himself is running this blog. So, even when the blog was in its “prime”, I still probably would not have taken prompts.
If I ever decide to roleplay Usagi outside of this Ask Blog, I’d be more than happy to take prompts there. But, on this blog, the answer is no. I apologize.]
Hello Usagi-san! I just found this blog and I'd love to talk to you, if you're in Third Earth right now. Do you stay at the lair with the Hamatos when you're visiting?
Ah, hello!
I apologize if there has been any delay in this response, as my visits to Third Earth have been a little infrequent as of late. As for your question, yes, more often than not I stay with Splinter-sensei and his family while I visit this dimension.
There have been times where (with their blessing and occasionally company) I have ventured out and explored more. However, I always take the utmost care to keep from being seen.

Happy Halloween Usagi! Are you going trick-or-treating with the turtles? I'm dressing up as the raven from the Edgar Allen Poe story. I hope you get lots of candy! Aren't you EXCITED???!!!
Ah, unfortunately, I was not in Third Earth for Halloween. So, I did not get to celebrate that holiday with the turtles.
I may be here for this upcoming "Thanksgiving" holiday, however!
Usagi, have the turtles ever showed you a movie called Watership Down?
Hmmm, no, I do not believe they have!
I forgot I did this earlier this week! SUPER MESSY. SHH.
Here! Have Usagi in a flower crown! \o/
Badass and Cute Scenes of Usagi Miyamoto
I am forever sad that we didn’t get an Usagi series. He was so epic in TMNT and I wanted to see more of his world. I wish the writers had gone with the idea of Leo traveling back to his world and training under a master there; imagine all the badass adventures our honor bromance would’ve had! <3
hmmm, I didn’t read the comic though, but I believe he has a scar on his forehead… eeh, whatever.
Hey, Usagi-san! I've been learning more about japanese recently and how there are lot's of ways to refer to oneself like saying "I"! Like watashi, boku, ore, and all those! I was wondering if I could ask which one you use when you're speaking japanese? thanks!!
An interesting question, Anonymous-san!
You are correct. In my mother tongue there are many, many ways to say “I” all depending on the situation, who you are talking to, your status, and even your own personal preferences.
I am no exception to this, of course. I choose specific “I’s” that fit the best at the proper time. Though, if I were to choose which ones I use the most often…
—I would have to say that I use watashi (私) and soregashi (某) the most. Watashi is a very standard way of saying “I” for both men and women, and is probably the most common. Soregashi, on the other hand, is a way of saying “I” usually reserved for samurai. Though, I have been told that in Third Earth it is rarely, if ever, used anymore.
On occasion I will use ore (俺) if I am comfortable enough to be a bit more informal with whoever I am speaking to.
I hope this answers your question, Anonymous-san!
[ooc: Wow, Anon sure threw me for a loop with this one. While I’ve taken a course in Japanese, I didn’t really get far enough in to learn all the do’s and don’t’s with all the “I’s”. I had to do a bit of research and choose what I thought would be the best for Usagi. I even watched the Japanese dub of The Big Brawl parts 2, 3, and 4 to see what they had Usagi use. Much to my frustration, I could only pick up one instance where he actually referred to himself. That I could tell, at least—I don’t have the best trained ears. He used “ore” which is why I decided to add in that on occasion he will use that one.Though, as I mentioned, I’m novice at very, very best and did the best that I could with my limited knowledge. If anyone knows about this better than me and thinks Usagi would use different “I’s” please, do not hesitate to tell me!]
Riddle me this, Samurai: Many have heard me, but nobody has seen me, and I will not speak back until spoken to. What am I?
--You are an echo, Anonymous-san.
