on the outside the valazquez may seem like your typical rich family ,  the whole family is involved in their law firm , they keep appearances , everyone looks happy , which is exactly what they want you to think . however behind closed doors everything rather different from what you see  , and behind all his puppets stands a man by the name of antonio valazquez - timothee’s grandfather . 

his grandfather liked to be the one to set the rules , it was his word that weight the most , but when his son timothee sr. decided to go against his father’s wishes and marry a woman who wasn’t up to antonio’s liking that is when the father son relationship was ruined . and even though antonio did not kick his son off the firm , back at home it was easy to see the tension between the both . despite the oldest valazquez being against the marriage , martina gave birth to two beautiful children, timothee and his younger sister .

and they all lived under one roof in their huge house as if they were one happy family . antonio never punished his son for the mistake he did , instead , it was his grandchildren who were punished for their parents’ decisions . antonio always made things a competition between the two siblings , making it hard for them to establish any kind of relationship since they were always pinned against each other . 

as a young child timothee was forced by his father and grandfather to be the best that he could , top of his class , top in every after school activity , he was always forced to focus on his academics , so he barely had time to be an actual child and live out his childhood . and the worst part of it being , his sister wasn’t really forced to do anything , father had a favorite and that clearly wasn’t him .  after graduating from high school he had to leave charleston in order to study law , he had to continue the family legacy after all .

college was a dream come true , no control , no parents monitoring everything you’re doing , it was him finally earning the freedom he so desperately wanted as he was younger . 

however most good things must come to an end , as he finally finished school , it was time for him to return to charleston and make his parents proud , however , the son they once knew was very much gone , and it was only a matter of time before all his dirty  secrets come out

olivia  attempted  to  create  this  'picture  perfect’  girl  vibe  on  her  instagram  .  her  followers  believed  all  of  it  and  aspired  to  be  her  .  but  it  was  far  from  the  truth  .  ever  since  she  her  incident  in  high  school  her  parents  have  been  controlling  almost  every  aspect  of  her  life  .  but  there’s  one  thing  they  did  not  control  ––  her  friends  anf  who  she  dates  .  at  least  that’s  what  she  thought  until  today  .  she’d  only  been  back  for  a  week  or  so  ,  but  that  didn’t  stop  her  parents  for  trying  to  set  her  up  with  timothee  .  she  took  a  deep  breath  and  faked  a  smile  .  "  at  least  you  can  try  to  sound  a  bit  more  excited  about  it  .“  she  looked  at  him  ,  trying  to  not  diappoint  both  parents  .  ”  it’s  not  like  you  are  being  asked  to  date  someone  ugly  .“

        it  seemed  like  there  was  nothing  timothee  wouldn't  do  in  order  to  please  his  family  ,  even  this  .  he  was  well  aware  of  what  his  family  would  do  if  he  didn't  agree  ,  and  being  a  lawyer  was  his  dream  ,  so  it  didn't  matter  if  he  liked  the  idea  or  not  ,  as  long  as  his  parents  were  happy  with  him    .  he  had  nothing  to  worry  about  .  however  ,  there  was  one  thing  he  couldn't  exactly  wrap  around  his  head  ,  why  olivia  ?  last  time  he  checked,  their  parents  weren't  exactly  besties  ,  yet  suddenly  things  have  changed  the  other  way  around  .  "  i'm  sorry  let  me  try  this  again  then  ."  the  other  said  as  he  forced  a  smile  on  his  face.  "  this  is  so  great  !  I'm  so  happy  to  be  here.  what's  your  favorite  color  ?  any  hobbies  ?  was  that  more  up  to  your  liking  ?  "
