"I-it’s bigger than I remembered, ever since I’ve been cooped up in the infirmary… b-but also it’s really pretty! My friends and I walk around the city a lot, s-so I know a good part of the city. I still get lost a lot, though."
Homura decided not to speak of the witches and magical girls. Of course, she would seem like she was lying if she did talk about them, and embarass herself, and break her promise to Madoka. However, without that, the city seemed boring and insignificant.
Chaos let a bit of concern slip into his voice. “Infirmary? Are you okay?” He then giggled a bit when she admitted to getting lost. “South Park’s small, and apart from a lot of crazy shit happening there it’s pretty much just a small town in the middle of nowhere.”
"O-oh- yes, I- I’m fine now, well… I wasn’t, but now I am… h-heart problems…" Homura looked away a bit, before continuing.
"Th-there’s actually some confusing and crazy stuff happening in Mitakihara too, but I’m not too involved in any of it, a-and it really messes with my head…" The girl recalled the day that she was almost taken over by a witch. Messing with her head, indeed.
Chaos perked up when she mentioned crazy stuff. Chaotic things happening always grabbed his attention. “What kind of crazy and confusing stuff?”
"I- n-nothing r-really important… just… things…" Great job. She gave him a mention, a small hint, and he took it as a hook onto her secret. Homura couldn’t just tell him about Magical Girls, there’s no way in hell that he would believe she wasn’t acting crazy. She began to quake, turning red.
"Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m just curious." Chaos thought about it for a few seconds, getting an idea. "Okay. If you promise that you won’t think I’m crazy, and I tell you about some of the things that have happened in South Park, will you tell me a bit about what’s going on over there?"
"Hm..." Homura paused as she contemplated the offer. Of course, at this rate, she was genuinely interested on what was happening where Chaos was from, and he said he might sound crazy.
Surely Madoka and Mami's secret could be told to someone from America? They did say, 'Don't tell our classmates', so maybe, just maybe, it would be alright.
"O-okay."
